Snowed here today, stuck to the grass and the parked vehicles, but not the roads. Ice tonight!

That would be Utah. Still snowing in the mountains and south of the GSL.

We got about 4 inches last night. It will probably melt just in time to be re-frozen under the snow that's supposed to hit tomorrow. Driving is so much more fun without all that unnecessary traction.

My cat was surprisingly anxious to go outside and run around in it last night. She's only seen it a few times and I guess she forgot how cold it was.

I can get up to about 4 inches as long as it's not too cold.

Wow. Snow. I'd almost forgotten about that. It's been years since I've seen it. Can't say as I miss it much. Maybe when I was out living in the country and it snowed so hard you could hear it coming down. That's fun for about 4 hours.

I got to go to the beach today. It was nice lying in the sun on the sand instead of at home keeping my leg elevated.

third one this morning. if you ever have the chance when flying into an area with a fresh fall, check out the graduations.. its really interesting.. you can sometimes catch where it started and quit in white dustings and the outlines of things like circle crops and roads are cool.

we had a foot of snow in early Nov but it warmed and most has melted... now in the 20's and a few patches of crusty, icy snow and lots of brown frozen ground...

We got six inches Monday night, with another storm rolling in this afternoon. Very pretty! We have lights along the roof ridges; you could see the net of lights over the swamp cooler, but the long runs of white lights were simply glowing spots under the snow. Cool, and I have no way to take a good picture of that.

Anti-M did I tell you we used to live in Layton (I worked at the Connecting Point in Ogden for a while), escaped and moved to Silver Springs Nevada in '98. Probably none of my business but are you Mormon? Jack? and does that hot springs still exist on the road going up the hill.

oh and here is where I go to look at Utah snow.

I was raised Mormon, but quit around age 18. Technically Jack Mormons are still practiticing, they'er just not living the standards. I think that's how they put it. I'm an Ex-Mo, the worst kind, I am so going to hell.

I wasn't raised in Utah, I'm a Navy Brat Californian. Layton sucks anyway, live in Ogden proper which is trippy at times. Mormons make great neighbors, mine watch the house if we're gone and are fascinated by the Buckys.

There's hot springs at the entrance to Ogden Canyon, you mean those?

Snow showers today, weird fluffy drifts falling out of the sky seemingly at random. Now it is cold and dark outside; the snow is all sparkly like diamonds where the houselights catch it; crunching underfoot in a satisfying way as I delivered belated Christmas treats to the neighbors.
