What were you wearing, waders filled with water ?

With the exception of maybe a salt mine,
I don't think anywhere clears up athlete's foot faster than the Playa .

Water truck stout (drink it while applying vinegar)

Car Heater vs. Me

Post by NativeOne » Thu Nov 29, 2007 9:55 am

Yep! Not having to use the car heater until recently when it got 8 degrees here in Cedarville, flipped the dial all the way to to max red and then turned the fan on max just to have a good 2 lbs of playa come shooting out at me. I couldn't do a thing about it but laugh and think about going this next year, I didn't even bother to change just went about my business with dust all over the place that day.

Amazing Race ... the racers were sent to a village in Lithuania. They had to either count fence pickets or stilt walk, all during some type of festival. Lots of costumes and masks and stilts, it was like a Disney Enchanted Forest version of Burning Man with more trees than fire. And the folks dressed up in the costumes kept messing with the fencepost counters. Hilarious!

We used our RV for the past holiday. The window jams have so much Playa dust sitting in the bottom that it got wet and cracked just like the Playa floor.
While stuck in traffic I'd look down at it and quickly go to dreamland.. 8) 8)

Accross The Universe

Post by Mister Jellyfish Mister » Sun Dec 09, 2007 8:35 pm

Just got back from the theater where I had my mind blown playa-style.

If you have not yet seen the movie Across The Universe, by all means do! Music composed by The Beatles and the psychedelic scenes are sensational! Certainly worth catching on the big screen, especially while it's at the "cheap flicks" theater in town. I hate to see art that's this good lose money.

Hey MJM! I thoroughly enjoyed Across the Universe a few weeks ago! Have to agree that it was a nice dose of non-playa playa feeling, if you know what I mean! Highly recommended!

I think theres a theme in this thread and it ends in dust.

i saw a movie today, oh boy....

i'll admit, i liked it, but it was STUPID STUPID STUPID but visually stunning.

like Cherry Flavored Psycedelic Malt liquor.....Pink Champale in Video Format.

a hallucinogenic box of mike and ikes...

i had to brush the teeth in my mind afterwards, i was afraid of brain plaque developing.

so after this metaphysical diabetic shock treatment, i went home and watched 1984 with Sir richard Burton and John hurt just to level out, and keep things from swinging too far to the happy side.

fucking hippies and their fucking feel good i wanna love the world beauty is everywhere crap......

i'm sorry, really i am, it's just that i woke up and realized the only cigarettes in the house are some slim 120 light menthols someone left here...

you try starting out the day like that....do you KNOW what it's like to suck coffee and then puff on the equivalent of burning crest toothpaste...DO YOU?

i know, it's not an excuse...maybe if they were brand name and not reservation cigs i'd feel better.

ah.........the east coast, where bitter Snarkasm (tm) was born....
