What do I want for Christmas?
A place for the two of us to call home.
To have our own stuff around us.
To have our own bed again.
To have a place to fix our own food!

I want to stay in this off the beaten path place that I've kinda fallen in love with. I'm not sure that running back to the city is going to be worth it when all is said and done. Dare I say it but I hope someone doesn't get the job up North and it forces a change of plans. There's so much that can be done here with a little planning and patience. It's a stepping stone to dreams vs. getting back into the rat race.

Perhaps Father Christmas will understand and give a gift that would benefit many...and not just myself.

Removal of the seismoid bones in the right foot and something done about the nerve in the big toe. I will settle for an amputation and prosthetic so I can get back to work and walking. Walking for 3 weeks and 2 months in bed just isn't cutting it for me anymore.
