Possible to drum up some interest in an installation involving one or more Statues of Liberty, a remote control airplane and some fireworks?

The man is almost kind of like a Statue of Liberty but I would totally be into helping with a different "Noun" of "Adjective" (insert new words in noun and adjective spot) installation with anything I could do.

STORY TIME

Years ago I saw KISS on there "Make-ups gone but the Rock lives on!" tour. There stage set had a huge top half of the Statue of Liberty behind the drummer.

So about an hour and a half into the show, which apparently was going to be every KISS song ever written, I look at my friend and said "They really have turned into Spinal Tap haven't they." and with that explosions go off behind the statue, the hand holding the torch explodes forward into a "ROCK ON" fist, the face falls off to reveal a angry skull and laser beams start shooting out of the eyes.

My friend looks at me and says "Now they have become Spinal Tap"

END STORY TIME

Could we do something like that.

question....i cannot remember what year it was, because afterwards, i tried to blot it out, but, i KNOW that it happened, and i have a feeling our comrades at APOK could confirm with a non-denial denial. one year, as the arms were raising up, one of them failed, momentarily, and the playa was gifted a flaming seig heil from Das Mensch. it lasted about one second, and after the other arm made it to the official "yippee" position EVERYBODY pretended like it didnt happen....i distinctly recall looking at my neighbors to my left and right, and getting a psychic or verbal confirmation that indeed, they had not seen it too, and they were perfectly content not to discuss it again...

am i correct, or is this one of those traumatic memory thingies, where i made it up and continue to believe it to this day...

i'm so confused....and scared.....

Is it time for a trany man Statue of Liberty, (or would that imply a criticism towards the nonguilty?) Hmm, a naked Statue of Liberty wearing the blindfold of justice? Statue of Liberty on a giant surfboard? Statue of Liberty with gun instead of a torch? (And doesn't that torch have possibities?)
I'm a genius or a technoramus, previously posting replies at the end of threads, where they were kicked with total incoherence into other threads. Probably should just keep it up...

Humm, so could maybe the Air Force (also remote controlled) defend her?
Perhaps some land based defenses? How many remote controlled devices can be operated at the same time?? (not that many freq's)

When the arm fell, it broke the neon tubes- it was a definite Seig Heil. I think it was 2003, and I remember the Piss Clear gang having a lot of fun commenting on while we watched.

I went to the real thing earlier this year and it just left me depressed. To get to the island takes going through 2 security screenings. You can't actually go inside the statue anymore because "the terrorists" might manage to get through both metal detectors and the bomb sniffer and do something bad. Then there's that whole speech about huddled masses yearning to breathe free and whatnot. We're talking about building walls to keep those people out now, and I was born here but feel less and less free. And we make fun of the French at every opportunity. The statue was a gift from them wasn't it? The contradictions were just too much for me.

Maybe play on that. Redact portions of the breathe free message that no longer apply, restrict access to the statue, give her an assault rifle and gas mask.

Dress up a lot of people as "Statues of Liberty". Then have people dressed up as "Civil liberties" running around them. The only natural thing is to have the Statues beat down on them.

I like C187's idea of people dressing up as Ms Liberty. Not my intention though. My intention was to attract some builders, nerds, dreamers and juice interest for firing up & burning Ms. Liberty.

On a surfboard, blindfolded, holding a gun, perhaps all at once.

Lots of fire. Don't know much about RC devices but there must be a couple burners who already know how to fly planes and would be more then happy to creatively crash them into her. Imagine the energy created in BRC with several planes buzzing camps and directing people to look towards the Statue(s) - then flying into her, yes, with explosives packed inside the statues. What a spectacle.

Was encouraged this morning by story about Czech artists Ztohoven who hacked a weather channel & inserted nuclear explosion footage.

What did she ever do to you? My grand father would have been just as ready to kick George W's ass, as some asswipe burning Ms. Liberty. Coming from Sicily, that was his first memory of this country. Can we keep her out of fucking politics? We already have an effigy to burn..and he does it every year.
