Do snack companies arrange for thier product to be on sale at all the different grocery chains at once?

That's a good question. I personally favor Teriyaki Jerky.

I wanna go to Burning Man NOW! I spent a good portion of the last few days clearing snow at the University. It made me feel really old and out of shape. The nice part was that a number of the college students would come up to us and tell us "thank you" for clearing the snow and/or for putting down the salt.

Then I managed to give myself a couple of days of food poisoning. Luckily NOT the hospitalization kind, but more the need to stay near the bathroom kind. The problems struck while I was at work, and I think my co-workers were worried I was mad at them. I explained I was having digestion trouble and said I needed a bottle of Peto-Bismol (sp?), and one of them went out and got me some. It didn't really help much and I warned them I might not make it in the next day if I wasn't feeling better. I did call in the next day, and missed a pipe bursting in Chadbourne...! (I've got mixed feelings about that.) Went back to work today and things seemed to go okay.

Today I have had the Boomtown Rats song "I Don't Like Mondays" stuck going through my head after hearing about the church shootings. I don't know anything about the missionary school or the church, but going out and shooting people, apparently at random, just doesn't make any sense! I suppose the fact it doesn't make sense to me is a good thing....

I am pretty certain that snack companies DO arrange for their product to be on sale at all the different grocery chains at once.

I've been wasting too much time messing around with play by post games. It takes too long for anything to happen in those games, so I start to get bored and wind up joining another game just so something is going on, and so wind up in four or five games, all with nothing happening in them! Phooey!

I am once more mad at my former employer, the Division of Motor Vehicles. Maybe I will post why when I feel I can be more civil about it! :x

I don't post things because I believe that they are the absolute truth. I post them because I believe that they should be considered.

I was thinking of the special k cereal with actual bits of chocolate in it. It's weird.

Chocolate milk, that's a whole different story.

If you want the freshest food, shop around the outside walls of the grocery store: this is where the fresh bread, fresh meat, fresh veggies etc are, the crappy canned stuff is in the middle.
