now all my pictures are gone, boo hoo, and it looks like someone ransacked the place over there. poor tribe. tings are not going well, stars or no stars, they are definitely hitting a rough patch. even though I could do without a lot of the blah blah over there it is a fun place to visit. I hope they work it out, it would be sad to see it go down.

MySpace just isn't an option for me, I hate the format, they own everything you post up there, and you can never delete your profile, only make it inactive...triggers a loss of control issue for me. I've never been on facebook, so I have no idea what the deal is with that. hmph.

I never used to feel exposed having things on the net, lately I have been wanting to remove my web presence, preserve my privacy, and I'm not sure why, I just have this feeling it's a good idea. anyone else having webternoia?

It is absolutely fucking incredible. Someone up there really doesn't know what they are doing.
You should at least test your shit before you go live.
again, I'm glad I didn't give tribe any money and really glad I didn't volunteer any of my time to their web team though I'm sure as in most IT circles their egos would be too big to accept anything I would have to offer..

too bad for tribe and the tribers like myself. tribe should use the resources they have within the community and kick the egos to the curb.

Tribe seems to be following a logarithmic scale on a downward slope. Too bad. I miss Chicken and Harriet on tribe. Without them it's peanuts without the nuts....

Hmmf...Tribe....

You know a month ago I could say thats a very important coffee stop every morning.
Not to mention ... really if it wasnt for getting onto tribe and finding Burning virgins, I wouldnt have met up with eplaya bar folk(well maybe not as fast and maybe not in that yr.)
I wouldnt have met Titwi!! and the 200+ other friends I have (real live skin and bones touchy feely friends)

I have not paid my star fee. I did think about it, till I was doing a routine event post on SnB, after I did all the writting, going through to invite all the people for the event, adding a picture. then POOF! nothing but a little comment box, on "how can they make their site better"!

I wrote back to them on how actually having a "working site" would be very nice, and a HELL OF ALOT MORE PROMISING ABOUT the possiblilities of asking members for money!

In a way I compare it to water. Ok H20 is not free, but you pile your utility bills together so you dont really noptice the h20 bill.And ours runs about .30 a day. Your water system is GOOD water. But for the sake of face(who's, Im not sure?) you BUY water in stylish attractive bottles at 1.50 @ and .... by the case loads!

Tribe, "was" good water, I'll pay my water bill....when I dont open up the bottle and taste arsenic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Btw, I guess too that Im opposed to paying for something I never had to pay for. thats Hard on any human.

but we do it, eventually. or we do without!

Could it be because the app was suggested by Moi?

An alternative to Tribe, Facebook and Myspace.

DIGICAST INTERNATIONAL.COM is up and running.

Ok,

So now there is a way for Tribers, Facebookers and Myspacers to communicate. Especially when Tribe goes down today or any other time.

Just go to Http://www.digicastinternational.com

It took me 3 weeks to get the parts, servers and no help to set up 3 redundant servers just in case one or more servers goes down and a laptop just in case worse comes to worse. We just need to find out what load the servers can handle so we can get a grip.
Not gonna get into too many details but the backend is "Plone". (if you dont know what that is, dont worry. it aint important.)

As of now anyone can PM me if they want to join or go to the site and register (Just dont check the "email me my password" box. I've been working on this all night and I am tired right now. Dont feel like setting that up right now.)

or email "playacast" at gmail......

The site design is still under development and will have a chat, longdistance and other services including a photo album, fileshare, audio and video streaming.

Any artists that want to upload art or music or any other files are welcome to do so. Anyone that wants to help in the design or just suggest anything, IS MORE THAN WELCOME TO DO SO.

I just found this chat app on an old server or website of mine that's still online. The chat needs to be fixed . if anyone wants to have a go at it, they are more than welcome. We can always change the graphics later after the chat is working.
