Heading to miami, any suggestions???

Hey everybody, i'm heading to miami and know nothing about this town. Any tips on cool hang outs and places to burn (laws on burning too) would be helpful, thanks guys.

Generally the cops are assholes, fairly shady and corrupt as with many other major cities. Its best to keep fireplay on pvt. property away from public visibility. Permitted events are left alone and pvt. businesses are also left alone. There are a couple places to dine that have fire artist employed.. again they pay a tax for this freedom. Don't even try to ride a bike with a flame effect.

Counties outside of Dade tend to get nicer to further away you get. Keep in mind its very much fascist southern cop mantra goin on down in FL. If you don't look like a clone you can get hassled too, same goes for folks that are outspoken politically. Protests can get pretty nasty down here.

I'm not into hanging with the plastic people so I can't recommend any "cool" hangouts. The beaches are nice, alot of good food around, some decent shows come to town, and lets not forget the casinos.

Oh yeah.. alot of income is obtained from traffic tickets.. so no rolling stops at stop signs and be careful speeding. They just LOVE to dole out tix down in FL.

i appreciate that, i was worried that there wouldn't be any cool bars down there though. I mean it's miami ;-) land of the plastic people right?
