Locking a rapist in an environment where they can practice what they love to do, ie rape weaker people, is not very smart.

Hey the current prison system is like that! Prison must be like a super good fun time for the freak show set.

It seems that a locked down therapy type environment would be the to go.
Because these people do think they are "YOUR" god and that is sick.

Darn it all! I guess I really need to get some sort of budget together and figure how in the heck I can get the money together to go out to BM this year! I thought I had figured things out well enough, but, since I have been late on my rent these past two months, and had overdraft charges, and the price of fuel keeps going up, I seem to be making negative progress towards my goal! Especially given that I more or less promised myself a converted school bus for "next time"! (I made a note about that to myself after setting up a tent under the hot sun, and then trying to sleep on a cot in it that night. With a school bus I should be able to cut down on the set up time, and be able to take a bit more comfy a bed.)

The DMV told the State that they want to exercise their option to not have me compete for jobs with them, citing that they fired me "for cause". I sent the State an appeal letter, citing that Unemployment ruled that my termination was not "for cause" when the DOT's attorney failed to show for the hearing. I included a copy of the letter I had turned in to Unemployment. At this point I could see the State's decision going either way. Just ignoring my appeal would seem to be the easiest in the short run, but they would run the risk of my making a big stink about it, and looking bad in the long run. (And, to be honest, I don't really see a reason not to make a big stink about it. Might as well continue my ancestors' tradition of being trouble makers!

Darn. I had lost five pounds of fat, with my weight remaining more or less the same, according to the fancy, bodyfat measuring scale I bought last time I thought I had money. Now the fat loss seems to have stalled, and, if anything, started creeping back up by a tenth of a percent at a time! Grrr! Makes me tempted to do something nasty to one of those folks who are naturally skinny, 'cept I don't see how it would help my weight problem any....

So, now there are a bunch of movies I want to see, and I haven't gotten around to seeing a one of them. I guess that's why some folks join NetFlicks. I haven't, since that would require my getting around to setting up some sort of television arrangement, and, even if I did, I probably wouldn't get around to watching the movies anyway....

Speaking of getting around to stuff, I need to remember to make an appointment for LASIK eye surgery, since part of my money troubles stems from the fact I set up to have money put aside for LASIK. If I don't get the surgery done, the money will disappear at the end of the year.

So, I wonder, will my bedding actually be dry next time I go down into the basement to check on my laundry...?

I've been fooling around with a design for a pseudo-art-bike. I might have to find out if there are any art-bike/kinetic sculpture-type folks around here to tutor me on how to build one... (Darn! I seem to recall that very sort of thing coming up in one of the threads on this board. Don't know where, though.)
