If you are using IE, I have seen it do some very strange things. If this is the case, I would suggest a reboot and give it another try, you also may want to switch to Firefox.
Otherwise, a little more information would be nice regarding your system.

Maybe her post count is so high there is a glitch. Aside from defaults I only changed to view search results as posts and ascending order. If there was a case senitive issue I imagine I wouldn't even see the first page right?
I tried, but I can't tell what the hell is going on. If you do a search from her profile, only the first page works even though it all looks like it worked in the database. If you search using the search form, the last couple of pages don't work because it's counting some of the topics twice. I may try again later.

under Greeters Station.. supposed to take one to Introduce Yourself takes ya to a thread in Q&A
viewtopic.php?t=1391
This thread comes up under Introduce Yourself.. I only managed to open it by seeing it on the right side at the Forum Index
viewtopic.php?t=23389
My questions are how was it posted under IY and how can one view other threads there? Is this a thread not supposed to be visable to me at my user permissions and I got in via some glitch with the Index that shows the last active thread? Was the Rabbi thread in Q&A supposed to be a sticky under IY and got moved somehow?

Settle down now! If you have something that needs immediate deletion, send me a PM.
Different forums have different permissions for some reason. I'll ask around to see if there's any reason for this before I start changing things. You'll notice that in some forums you see the following at the bottom right:
You can delete your posts in this forum
In others, you'll see this:
You cannot delete your posts in this forum
And there's also the restriction I mentioned before.

You must never know what I'm really thinking.
I must keep you on your toes!
Then again, it really sucks when you realised that you posted to the wrong thread and you then have to really think something up that you have no relevant opinion or joke to edit in.
Dork, I didn't mean to be mean, just dish'n shit!

If I remember correctly the deletion rule is you have one hour to edit or delete a post unless someone immediately posts right after you do. The idea behind implementing this rule is to keep people from going back days, months, or even years later and changing or doing a complete purging of posts. It prevents holes in threads and also keeps socks from covering their tracks.
Dork, before changing the deletion rules I would like to ask that you give it more thought and maybe run this by the rest of the online community before implementing any changes. IMHO this was one of the changes that put the board on the road to the relative stability we enjoy today. I'd hate to see it changed and things return to the chaos that we used to have.

I've look in all the forums that I have posted in and there isn't one that you can delete a post.
But there was this past saturday and now its gone! So you tell me which forum can you delete posts.
I say that you should be able to delete BEFORE someone posts! Remember you can always go back and edit a post so what is the problem, Hey KenV

Maybe you should spend more time looking at different forums and less time posting. You do have the ability to delete your posts in some forums. I don't know how many, but I saw it working so I know it's possible. It will only work with your own posts that meet the restrictions, whatever those are.
Nothing changed on Saturday.

All that would do is keep some new people from looking here for information and keep search engines from indexing the site. The last part may or may not be a good thing, but the first would definitely be bad.
I doubt many people are concerned about their name showing up in the "who's online" list. Those who are know they can simply create a new username.

Make People have to login to view threads.
And end hidden guest name from not appearing when they are on!

I only ask WHY? Why is it needed? for what purpose? why do you need to know Who is looking at the form? What is the end use of that info?
WHY?

fuel for paranoia?
Maybe if some of us we were NICER to the newbs than they would sign up for accounts rather than be afraid and read anonymously.
I think the whole snark thing puts some folks off a bit.. I still don't get it entirely and usually fail miserably when I try it.
I say let them surf anonymously as guests.
