I fucking hear ya, P-Mom. Eight to ten inches today, and not the fun kind. Did something awful to my already bad shoulder, enough so I hit the vicodin. Fuckety fuck, I hate pain.

No deep snow here....but the little bit we're getting is blowing by at about 25 mph making visibility while driving at times pretty fucking difficult. At least we're gaining more daylight every day...that makes it a bit more bearable.
One more thing...to the politicos in DC, your puny, pathetic economic stimulus package is too little, too late. Can you say recession, fuckers? Now do the right fucking thing and extend unemployment benefits!

Fuck I am glad I have the next couple of days off! 
Between the cold weather and the returning students, and today's snow fall, things have been really hectic. With the snow today, we finally gave up trying to clear it when it became apparent we couldn't keep up. I got to put down mousetraps in the Resident Life Office, and saw the mouse while putting them down. The leech carts (the big dumpster carts that go under the trash chutes) were reported as all filled by the student workers, so we had to search through the carts to see if we could find any empties. We combined loads on some partially empty ones, then filled them when we unblocked the trash chutes. And then there were other crisises (sp?) which I don't recall off the top of my head. And all I wanted to do all day was fucking hibernate! whew.

I fucking hate it when there's a project that an associate needs you to get done ASAP and they bug you endlessly to get it done, but when you finally get it going and have a simple yes/no question to something where you need an answer to that question to keep going on the project, they disappear and can't be reached via phone, email, text, nothin'.

I went to two job fairs yesterday, one in Modesto and one in San Jose. I got to talk to several companies and distributed my resume cheerfully. I really felt in the zone. This morning I found on the last line a HUGE error. No, I didn't get a diploma from San Jose State University.

For FUCKS SAKE! Moo has got head lice again and he has only been back at school for 2 weeks.
Up until Christmas he was getting nits every fucking week. I would make sure we were all nit free, boil all the bed clothes and the next week the little fuckers were back. I dont know if its just one person at school being lazy and not bothering to check their kids hair or what. But I wish it would stop because its costing me a fucking fortune in nit lotion. At £10 a bottle that shit ain't fucking cheap!

I did every thing, and over the fucking top too, as Im a retired hairstylist(trained in de-nit'n) and I sware(FUCK) it got to the point that I thought she was growing her own!!!!!!!!!!!
It took me 6 hours each time to remove the nits! EACH FUCKING TIME...I think thats why I have a achy back, 2 girls, long thick hair, times the last 20 years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If I had even just a nickle for how many bottles of the fucking shampoo Ive bought over the last 2 decades, Id have a couple thousand back!
We were averaging 2-8 oz bottles a month...every month.
She has finally been nit free for over 6 months..Thank fuck she's in highschool now!
Re-shampoo him with it in 3 days...not 7 days like they say.Eggs can hatch and start breeding and they dont need another to breed by the way....eggs can happen as fast as 3 days age of bug.

So they had the class come down to the nurses office I did head checks...and usually Id get anywhere from 1/3 to over 1/2 the class sent home with LICE...fuck...I feel for ya!

and Halloween (Oct. 30 - Nov.1)

It seems that either I am employed, and can't get the days off for BM, or I have the free time due to unemployment, and thus not the money.

BAS, this is definitely not THE ideal answer, but would be A solution to your conundrum:
Start NOW lining up a new job where you would start on the week after BM and quit your current job 2 weeks before BM. You'd have the money as you'd be working up to the 2 weeks before that point and you'd already have a new job lined up starting the week after BM so there's almost no gap in employment...
It's a little too conniving IMHO, but it's your life.

Fucking snowed again today, nasty, windy fucking miserable snow. Nasty fucking pile up on I-15, closed the northbound lanes, I don't know if my-fucking-larry will fucking get fucking home to-fucking-night. If not, I won't get fucked. Fuck me.

Fuck these last few days have been hectic! Fucking student workers not showing up when they are scheduled, fucking snow, slush, and stuff. And, fucking trash chutes getting plugged, sometimes multiple times during the shift. Oh, and I finally got a fucking parking ticket!
Well, quiting and getting a new job isn't that fucking easy. I don't gots a college degree, and that is pretty much needed around here, at least for the jobs with health insurance AND a livable wage. And I need the health insurance in order to pay for the medications I take every day. My coworkers and supervisor are decent at my current job, which is important. Maybe taking more of the State exams and watching the Current Employment Opportunities Bulletin for the State of Wisconsin is the way to go? (The State of Wisconsin's retirement system is very hard to beat-- I want to keep it!)
I'm too fucking tired to keep typing right now.
