(ThatWhichIs- I'd projectivly like to spend atleast one full night at the domes as one of the locations for my Threshold (charcoal drawings) as entertainment and to shoot the breeze. And I can be called anything the world wants,...just don't call me late for d e s t i n y

Yeah mereth- the desert is what you make it. It's everything and blank at the same time. It's one week (to me) to disappear...inside myself, to create, to laugh, to see the status of humanity, for solitude, for forsight, and c r a z y l a n d...(nothing like doin' a shoulder roll off the back of a moving art car, watching people battle it out in the ThunderDome and then dancing your ass off all night!)

Cc..... Oh, man.... that would be just tooooo fabulous, if you set up in the domes!!!!
That's the kind of things people walk away with and just say, Wow!
And I am sooo getting the boobtender vibe...... we try to make it that way... getting the idea across to everyone, is a good idea.....

I hear ya T...communication is storytelling. We can read books, watch movies, and read the news...but listening to a conversation of an event is so much more vivid & memorable...you can take pictures, but nothing can capture the feeling of that exact moment in time (coffee is philosiphizing me, sorry
) Need to start loose talks CC 08' members (originating and new...hope to bring a first timer for each of us)

Expect unexpectivness and expect nothing and then thou' shall see the light (if not be totally indeceisive

Yea, I think most of the characters will be in the desert this year........And Morgan, Yea!
I don't really have too many pre-plans this year, so I'm ready to party!
It's really nice seeing some sparks of excited-ness showing up!!!.... Now if only the snow would go away.......

Mereth I hope your right it is amazing how tenacious expectations can be hiding out in your subconscious. For those I can’t really get rid of I try to recognize them, admit to myself they are there and belittle the shit out of them. Those ridiculous little bustards have a really had time disappointing or wounding me once they’ve been knocked down to size.......... yup,... sigh.

A story I want to share with everyone, so that you never lose hope or faith in the human race!
We humans,Myself included, at times can be thoughtless to others feelings.
The Most Beautiful Heart
One day a young man was standing in the middle of the town proclaiming that he had the most beautiful heart in the whole valley.
A large crowd gathered and they all admired his heart for it was perfect. There was not a mark or a flaw in it. Yes, they all agreed it truly was the most beautiful heart they had ever seen. The young man was very proud and boasted more loudly about his beautiful heart.
Suddenly, an old man appeared at the front of the crowd and said, "Why your heart is not nearly as beautiful as mine." The crowd and the young man looked at the old man's heart. It was beating strongly, but full of scars, it had places where pieces had been removed and other pieces put in, but they didn't fit quite right and there were several jagged edges. In fact, in some places there were deep gouges where whole pieces were missing.
The people stared  "How can he say his heart is more beautiful?" they thought.
The young man looked at the old man's heart and saw its state and laughed. "You must be joking," he said. "Compare your heart with mine, mine is perfect and yours is a mess of scars and tears."
"Yes," said the old man, "Yours is perfect looking but I would never trade with you. You see, every scar represents a person to whom have given my love - I tear out a piece of my heart and give it to them, and often they give me a piece of their heart which fits into the empty place in my heart, but because the pieces aren't exact, I have some rough edges, which I cherish, because they remind me of the love we shared."
"Sometimes I have given pieces of my heart away, and the other person hasn't returned a piece of his heart to me. These are the empty gouges - giving love is taking a chance. Although these gouges are painful, they stay open, reminding me of the love I have for these people too, and I hope someday they may return and fill the space I have waiting. So now do you see what true beauty is?"
The young man stood silently with tears running down his cheeks.
He walked up to the old man, reached into his perfect young and beautiful heart, and ripped a piece out. He offered it to the old man with trembling hands. The old man took his offering, placed it in his heart and then took a piece from his old scarred heart and placed it in the wound in the young man's heart. It fit, but not perfectly, as there were some jagged edges.
The young man looked at his heart, not perfect anymore but more beautiful than ever, since love from the old man's heart flowed into his.
They embraced and walked away side by side.

Names pinemom, but my friends call me "Piney".
BoxB, when I shelter them back into their kennels on my server, they stop moving. I must be a really good lion tamer.
I like my avatar just the way she is. Good kittty. She looks at me funny, though - probably asking if she "can has a cheeseburger".
I was ecstatic to find the colorchanging one seeing as one of my cat's name is Rainbow (even though she's a long-haired dark black - the irony works).
Now that they're back in their kennels, feel free to show yourself again.

Okay, so ten out of ten for style, but minus several million for good thinking, yeah?
