Critical Massive (Seattle's regional) tickets on sale TODAY!

Post by Sensei » Mon Jan 28, 2008 11:13 am

Get 'em while they're hot! I'm not kidding either, ticket sales have been capped at 500, so you've got to move.

BTW - Did you know that last year's Critical Massive was the first regional to go for a whole week?

Come visit your NW burner buddies! You know you want to! Did I mention a large Canadian contingent comes down for this? RRRrrowww!

Come party with Emerald City's finest!

Unfortunately, they've turned the Seattle regional into something most of us can't or won't attend anyway. I already take two weeks off work to do BM... another week for a watered-down version is too much.

Captain Goddammit pulled the following out of his *&$@ when he wrote:Unfortunately, they've turned the Seattle regional into something most of us can't or won't attend anyway.
That, sir, is an outrageous statement entirely unsupported by the facts and obviously the result of a deranged mind. As it were.
Mr. Crankeypants continued whining and wrote:I already take two weeks off work to do BM... another week for a watered-down version is too much.
Nobody said you had to water down your margaritas, big boy. I see what the real problem is... It's vacation time, isn't it? Like you don't already make enough scratch.

You've seen how CM is going to be held on the east side of the mountains this year, right? What, you're afraid of a few rattlesnakes? Ya' chicken.

Like that's the only indication (unsupported by facts) of a deranged mind I've ever given...

I could give you a race in that dept.

Anyhoo, I think, AH SAY, I THINK that you and Ms. Goddammit should come. Okay, maybe not for the whole enchilada, but howzabout a nice Thu-Sun, huh? That'd be do-able and we'd have everything all set up for you.

Fine. It's decided then. Oh, and get your blender fixed.

Is there a lake there ?

Will they allow big pyro effects ?

Will they censor Penis art there ? ( or was that just Lake Bronson...)

Do they allow shirtcocking ?

OK.. I can swing the tix and supplies. Who wants to put up with me? I'll need a place to put the sleeping bag since I am currently without tent. I also need a lift from and to the airport and to get shopping done.

Firstly and most importantly, I should explain that I am not an organizer, official or otherwise. However! I refuse to let that fact get in the way of a good time, so, keeping that in mind, here are your answers.

I have no idea if there's a lake there. I doubt it but we'll see.
oneeyeddick wrote:Will they allow big pyro effects ?
'Big' is a relative term, but I'm guessing you won't see any Jim Mason type stuff. Say, just for the sake of arguement, that someone wanted to burn their "Penis art". In that case I'm fairly sure that size would matter. Sorry.

What was that, 3 years ago? Anyhoo, since it was a privately owned club with primarily 50-60 somethings running the place, it didn't surprise me all that much. Still, kinda weird for a nudist colony. I'm fairly sure your "Penis art" will be welcome this year, if not with open arms, then at least a friendly wave.
oneeyeddick wrote:Do they allow shirtcocking ?
Has shirtcocking ever not been allowed at a CM event? Scoffed at sure, but not allowed? I think not. You go, Penis art dude!

The good news is that the local website is being upgraded and should be up to speed soon. When it is, people will be posting about rides, camps, etc. The bad news is that you might have to room with the Penis art dude. Or that could make your whole week. It's up to you.

I happen to personally know this "Sensei" official. He is actually a major player behind the scenes, connected in high places, but stays low-profile so as to keep his finger on the pulse of the common burner.

I'm sorry, I had my iPod cranked and missed some of that. Did you say 'on the pulse' or 'up the ass'?

Lies, I say. I deny everthing.

H-e-l-l-o-o-o-o? It's a video iPod. Jeez, some people.

BTW - Did you notice the first tier tickets have already sold out? I doubt it, since most of you are probably waiting for my finger up your butt.

It would seem that tickets to CM '08 are now SOLD OUT! They went kinda fast, didn't they? Sales were capped at 500(!) tickets and this event doesn't even happen for another 3 months, but there it is. Remember kiddies, it ain't like I didn't warn ya'll.

I just hope Coxswain Goddammit didn't wait too long.

Jesus H. Christ, what a party! What a week!

Today is the first day since CM ended that I've been able to blink my eyes in unison.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. I love you, Seattle CM08'ers!

Cut and paste, baby.

As long as the {quote has a = and "somebody's name"] you can do anything.

Are you saying you hit the quote button and after that you have to cut and paste the name and the quote text for each one by hand and the same if quoting other people in the same post?
There are no shortcuts for doing it?
