Ah... oneeye.... you underestimate me. :P I have connections at the BRCPO you know... and... It is a well know fact that the BRCPO delivery people ALWAYS find camps/people because of the excellent address system in place.

You are just being silly! And as for early... I will be there early... I might even being coming before you (scratching head wondering).

Okay then, *slapping hands together and hitting the dust accumulation off* that takes care of that. *he he, boy, that showed him, I'll tell you what*

Now, you just must disclose your vote - just because I want to know.

I do think though that this is either the beginning of the end or the beginning of a new Beginning ... the people will ultimately decide one way or the other.

I really don't have much faith in humanity but then I do have faith in God and He seems to direct humanity at times. But again, I don't know the mind of God and I am completely baffled by the Glory of God.

So, that leaves me with some hope but mostly dread - I don't know what to think - all I can do is do what I can personally do and then wait and see what happens. Damn - not a pretty place, but I seem to be in that place none the less.

PS: you know that NIN got their name from the nails used to crusify Christ? yep - nine inch nails... driven through the palms or wrists and though the feet - that's Rome for you. Nasty business.

Wrong answer Donna !!!
Jesus was crucified with nine inch spikes.
This would made the abbreviation NIS.
Reznor has stated in the past that he chose the name simply because it abbreviated nicely.
False rumors have led people to believe that there was a literal meaning behind the name.
Another one I have heard from silly little girls is that it was named after Freddy Krueger's fingertips,
which are also nine inch nails.

Spikes.... Nails.... what in the hell does this have to do with Stopping the Evil .U.S Empire (empire - btw - denotes overseas possession acquired through use of FORCE or COERCION).

And as for silly little girls - what would horny old men do without them?

You're right. I did not specifically state which Romans (who - btw - are "citizens of Rome"). I intended no innuendo.

Any "Romans" out there - no offense meant! :)

If we are to be th worlds police - lets do it.

Darfur-Sudan, Uganda, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Chad, Somalia, China.... Christ theres no end to the countries we can invade or the reasons.

I have no problem using our might to spread Justice, Liberty and Freedom for all, but it makes no sense how we use that might.

*yawn*

"The Evil U.S. Empire."

Everybody hates it so much, that's why they keep coming here. Why don't the go to places less evil, like Australia, or the Benevolent Empire Russia. Or China...aka the "Freedom-Embracing Tibet Lovers"

I think when the US deports illegals it ought to send them to Canada, New Zealand, France.... "Wha? Y'all don't want illegal aliens?"

Last time I went to Canada I had to empty out my wallet and show them that I had money while they decided whether to let me in.

My dad and I couldn't go on vacation in Australia when he worked for United Airlines because he couldn't demonstrate that he had enough money. My stepdad's family were Latvian refugees after the Soviet Union stole their land and exiled or murdered their relatives. The family settled in California because Italy and Australia wouldn't let them stay. Same with my friend Krys, who defected with his family from Poland after the KGB arrested both his father and his school teacher.

Did you hear that as an Olympic athlete you have to promise not to criticize the Chinese government? What happens if somebody posts "STOP THE EVIL CHINESE EMPIRE" from an account in China?

There are 160 countries in the world.

The US is in 130 of them.

I like the US. I just don't want my soliders in all these other countries. I want them all to come home.

Why should the US be the world police?

You have to look to the World War II generation for that. They didn't want to have to be world police but they weren't given a choice. I think the result is sort of a national PTSD that caused us to compensate. Stalin, the Berlin Airlift and the military spread of communism exacerbated it, but, who knows...the Soviets must have had their own national PTSD too.

Plus, unless we want to start passing around nuclear secrets, it's our cross to bear whether we like it or not. We're a superpower. As to why we need -police-, that's not our fault. The necessity for law and enforcement of law is as old as established civilization. Can't change that. That means, somebody has to be the police. Combine that with the WWII-era attitude of righteous invincibility and I think you end up where America is now.
