Hi all,
I have booked my ticket and my flight to Reno, all the way from London! I first heard of BM from somebody I met on Second Life, so I started researching the subject and I got completely hooked... I can't wait now!
I'm a bit confused by the practicalities, though. I mean, I'll fly to Reno so I will need to organize with somebody to hire and share a vehicle and a tent. Any idea? Is there any forum specifically dedicated to people who need to organize these things?
Thank you in advance and see you on the Playa!

Google black rock city international burner hostel. Fred Hageymon runs it and does help with those sorts of logistics. He's had some trouble with the neighbors and can't offer as many services as he used to, but he's worth checking in with for a start. Otherwise, spend time on the boards and get to know people. That may lead to something. Read teh survival guide and some of the practical camping threads to really get focused on \what you need so you don't have to worry about a thing you're not going to use or not bring something you need. There is a "regionals" forum on this board, check in with other people flying in to find out what their experiences have been.
