Help Prosecute Paul Addis
I think all his cacophony cronies hang out on tribe. We had a bunch sign up for eplaya accounts right after the burn but I havent seen any of them post since the last church incident. I can't wait to see what cacophony has planned for 08. I hear its supposed to be even worse than setting the man on fire early.

The real cacophonists don't hang out on either. But there are alot of jaded, bitter burners who hide under the guise of Cacophony who hang out on tribe (real cacophonists are to busy doing stuff to hang out on tribe complaining about people who are doing stuff).
There's a few things that the misguided bitter burners have planned. Many of them feel that the event should be free, so are planning on camping outside of the perimeter, far enough away that the BLM lets them set up an open camp. And from there, they plan on setting up some art (like the man standing on it's head, or the golden arches). But for some reason, they are expecting that this will be just outside of the trash fence? And not in the next county where you'd need a telescope to see an art piece 100' tall.
Oh well, I wish them the best, and hope they succeed with their new camp outside of BRC.
So....where are all of his fanatical supporters these days?
Crickets?
CRICKETS?
Damn, even the crickets left. I hate to say this but for those people who have an ongoing celebrity death pool going on, it might be time to add Paul to the list. The odds for a suicide attempt seem to grow with each passing day.
Paul Addis does claim to be channeling Hunter S. Thompson. And from the amount of Acid Addis claims to be taking, and the antics he does, he seems to be trying to live up to that claim (although I doubt Thompson would bother with burning man, or threaten a church or children...)
So, how did Thompson go out? Oh yea, with a bang!

I don't think each of those trains was going 90 mph. Was that even possible int he steam age? Maybe they hit at 90, but that would be the aggregate of the two speeds.

P A
Maybe that Paul A was just confused about the participation rule.
The whole 2007 BMan seemed much different than previous years, in regard to general participation and in the amount of art work seemed like less quantity. Did he action really have that much of a negative effect on people or on the amount of art work out there?
When I came to the front gate, it seemed as though the greeters and security were a little depressed or not full of life.
On another note, has the whole BMan Event become a little too predictible sort of like a Walt Disney Resort Operation?
Anyway, back to the orginal topic of Paul A, what is his status now and how can we help those who were hurt?

Wow!
Wow, those are some great ideas! If we progress these ideas further, we could start making a whole set of ideaology, with some formal committees, a structure of three branches for a new BMan Govt, and start makng really cool stuff like prisons, courts, secret bases, special secret service to protect officials, dept. of education / indoctoration, dept. of housing / public works, regulations on lobbists, and so on. Sort of like a USA Repulic Govt based on merging of different ideas largely from Europe and the Original 13 Colonies.georgio5 wrote:JAIL?!?!?! What have you people become? chill the fuck out. you already banned him.. kicked him out.. he spent anight in jail.. actually why don't you just set up a prison system at BM next year, and create a police force with judges and capital punishment.. maybe they could privatize the jail system and hire you to run it BurningFlyer? we need someone tough who could take care of these vandals. Maybe Google Maps can map it out the prison and enjoy front page branding on the Burning Man homepage again during the '08 Burn..
Enjoy your American Dream next year!
Or if the new BMan Govt does not get the appropriate approvals, maybe we should start a fairly interesting society based off the Native American traditions and tribe mind set. Sort of like a interesting North American Tribal Govt or Way of Life.
Or to add some historical perspective we could try to do both types of cultural approachs and have them try to get along, but in the end one of them will probally break the vast majority of the treaties, working agreements and overall credibility.
I just throwing out ideas since some really good ones were posted. And the recent BMAN Theme for 2008, like wow, really wow, that is pretty interesting and surprising.

2007 Survival Guide
2007 Survival Guide ~ Burning Etiquette
The burning of public structures, such as lampposts or bulletin boards, is prohibited. Likewise, the burning of other people’s artwork is forbidden. Individual artists have the sole right to burn their own creation, subject to burn guidelines. Do NOT burn other people’s property! If you witness such
vandalism, please inform a Black Rock Ranger. You may burn your art on our Public Burn Pyres located at the front of our city, at the end of every third latitudinal street. Don’t forget to collect and remove your own ashes.

Look out!
Where is that person?
The mythical, Paul Addis, could be anywhere and maybe around every corner, just as the Terrorist is today, or is in the 1940s and 1950s, the Communists were everywhere; and in the 1870s to 1900, the Native Americans were so numerous and problematic to the USA. Ohh the agnoy, these various mythical creatures and various real creatures seem to join forces and cause panic throughout the land.
Ohhh what will the people of the World do? Ohhh what will the people of Burning Man do, now that a new type of an "apparent enemy" has made its presence even among these unusual people? Ohh the dilemas?
