my thoughts exactly.....i believe the designer had a notion of that based on the fact that it appears to be washable plastic.

There seems to be no word on exactly what it does and how well it works, just fairly vague hype. Has anyone seen or read anything more?

This is actually a major innovation in assistive technology for the blind.

Seriously, folks. I have a blind friend who has used a similar device which allows him to perceive images, and he can now "read" printed text. This chair may allow him to watch films and videos and considering that he has climbed many of the world's major peaks including Everest, I believe this is something to watch. When this device can be miniaturized and integrated into a garment, blind people may be able to achieve near total independence.

It will also allow DVD to get even more out of porn, making his particular handicap less painful to bear.

Pretty simple to make a chair with a vibrator in the seat. Call it what you will, anything to get your participant to sit their ass down. It's been done before, see "Hell No Hell Yes" for example.
