Looking for new camp

Post by The stoker » Tue Feb 12, 2008 10:22 pm

Last year I camped with Stag and enjoyed the group and did meet people. This year I am looking for a more closely knit group to live with. I have been repeatedly going through the posts but have not found anything concrete just yet so I am putting out my own want ad of sorts seeking a chill camp to live with.

About me: This will be my second year. I am 23 Male and currently living in LA, but if all goes well this summer I will be residing and working somewhere withing Yosemite. I am an outdoors person anything outside is me. I am looking to have an ever better year this year. Hoping to meet a ton of chill people and maybe come up with my next adventure after the burn with these people. I am down for anything, willing to try anything, and looking for everything.

I am just as easily amused and how fitting it is. It is a great abbreviation for salt lake UT. So what camp are you with?

Have you checked out your Regional groups? Close knit camps are friends. Go to a regional event and meet/make some friends. Then you'll know if you like them before you spend a week in the desert with them.
Read my posts with a grain of salt.

The Utah regional has always been pretty good ... some administrative changes on the table this year, but it still should be excellent. So many camps from Utah ... although ours is not so much a party as a family.

next regional meeting is February 17th, and we're deciding our own theme this week. There's voting and stuff. http://www.element11.org/
