Hereby be put on notice: TTITD (That Thing In The Desert) begins six months from today! We're halfway home!

If you really want to visit the friendliest wine bar on the playa, be sure to drop by Barbie Death Camp & Wine Bistro for a glass (or three) or our award-winning (seriously, California State Fair silver medal winner) cabernet sauvignon and merlot. Our hours are something like 10 a.m. until the last holdout passes out, daily.

"NOT IT!!!" (in a loud and commanding voice.

I am not driving our pub crawl - someone else is designated driving.

I say we start at 2:00 oclock and roll clockwise stopping at all bars for drinks.

MB - it doesnt have aname as of yet. Its always just been our inhouse bar, now that we want to go public we are looking for an appropriate name.

Themes been narrowed down to:
a western bar with stools, rough interior, old stand up piano, and brass work,

or something like they have in A clockwork Orange, off the wall shit, and euro trash interior?

I like the western theme, but since its a group effort I will be a team player with whatever we choose

Yep, they get 2 megaphone warnings, then their ride goes away and they are left to continue working on whatever it was that was so very interesting (I can think of a couple of reasons that missing the ride might be ok).

The Iron Rose Theme Camp has done a "drunk Miner" pub crawl. They would roll up in their art car, and send the under-age designated driver in to ask?

"Do you serve Miners here"

After the appropriate "NO!", they would send in all the drunken miners (in miner's outfits) to complain, and drink up all the booze.

The DD's biggest complaint was that after the first few bars it was hard to get everyone back on the art car...kind of like herding cats or something...
