Ha Ha

Now, Mccain is going to win the election!

That 4% or 5% that Nader will take is enough for either Hillary or Obama to lose.

wow. You must live on Planet New-Math. In 2004 Nader didn't even get 1% of the vote, and if you really think that the race is going to be that close....

You can point to that, but I can point to 2000, where it was Nader that threw the election and yes, 1%, is going to matter this time around. This election is all about the moderates and 1% just might mean win or lose.

Politics is for suckers.

It's just a device to pacify the masses.

Ralph Nader: Republican's Best Friend!

Post by Apollonaris Zeus » Mon Feb 25, 2008 6:15 am

Ralph Nader has entered the presidential race once again. What a waste of a person he has become. He the main reason we have had Bush for eight years, a war, the weakening of environmental laws, constititional rights, a poor economy and an ever increasing budget deficit, because he is the worlds worst power broker!

But I had a great respect for him then. I was wrong. Some people make great activists, but poor politicians.

Green was last year's theme and it ain't no more, ever!

I predict that voters will take Nader with same degree of seriousness that they give a Nigerian email.

Hey, there's a time when I actually voted for him. That time has passed.

Now he's nothing more than a lame, narcissistic, ass-wad.

In short; he's irrelevant.

WTF -

Do any of you monkies have a crytal ball that can tell me that 100% of the Nader votes were Democratic or would have gone to Gore. Uh - No.

Why would you want to limit the right of any person to run for any office. That's what being free is all about. Vote for who you want to.

Why be such pussy's - why not let only your candidate run for office, that way you are assured a victory. How can you honestly say that Nader lost the election for Gore. Gore lost on his own.

I vote for more choices. America chose Bush and even if you don't agree, we all had the right to make our own choice. Not one of you can say that Gore would have done any better. There is no way you can. You can speculate. You can't be certain.

If Obama is really going to be that great of a president, he shouldn't care who is running against him.

Or - Why don't you all move to fucking Cuba and let Democracy run it's course in the US.

Thanks

Who said we wanted to limit anyone? He can run all he wants. Anyone can. You can for all I care.

I do happen to agree with Badger that this time Nader's a narcissistic ass-wad. If he really cared about change he'd work on a viable third party or try to make change from the ground up, not pop his head out of his ass every 4 years and say he's the best candidate to be president.
Why be such pussy's - why not let only your candidate run for office, that way you are assured a victory.
How do you know who my candidate is? I certainly haven't posted it anywhere on this board. You obviously don't even know what party I belong to.
America chose Bush
only in 2004. He won 2000 by the electoral college and lost the popular vote by over half a million people. Talk about only letting your candidate be assured of victory.
Or - Why don't you all move to fucking Cuba and let Democracy run it's course in the US.
You're the one who seems to want to tell me what to do- you seem much more authoritarian than anything anyone else has posted on here.

Oh, I forgot. Only the Left has Authoritarian Tendencies. The Right is just Protecting You for Your Benefit by Destroying the Constitution.

I strongly recommend you find a copy of The Elements of Style by Strunk and White. Specifically, the chapters on punctuation.

Nader should be your pal because he will be your scapegoat for not electing a negro or a woman.

Well, since your assumption is correct...

Besides, as sad as it is, white's weren't the only ones to own plantations and all that is implied by that ownership. They also weren't the only one who were given (or took) the honorific "Colonel".

I was commenting on your mindset, which in your original quote comes off to be as white as Gov. Wallace in 1962.

I am also bored of this thread. I think I'll go take in some Marx.

Hmm, it seems to me we have had a lot of "experienced" politicians fucking things up for the last 100 years.

Maybe someone without the experience of playing in the political game might actually benefit the US.

Even the 2004 election results are suspect. The election may have been stolen in Ohio, where approximately 350,000 predominantly Democratic voters were prevented from voting. A Kerry victory in Ohio would have put him in the White House.

Robert Kennedy Jr. did a thorough expose in Rolling Stone in 2006.

The Mod can delete this thread since another was started a day before in the political section that should be reserved only for topic related to BM.

I always knew there would be a problem with the title of that section.

that's really funny!

He must be white? What about Brown? Does that mean you're half white or half black?

ON Nader:

He can RUN, but he can't HIDE!

Ralph Nader has entered the presidential race once again. What a waste of a person he has become. He the main reason we have had Bush for eight years, a war, the weakening of environmental laws, constititional rights, a poor economy and an ever increasing budget deficit.

He showed us that he is a poor politician because he is the worlds worst power broker! He wasted the power of his voter to negotiate his leverage to pursue an issue with Gore after Gore would have won.

But I had a great respect for him then. I was wrong. Some people make great activists, but poor politicians. Yes, I did vote for him so the green party could recieve money from the government.

In the last election, the demo committee challenged his ballot signatures and kept him off many district ballots!

Green was last year's theme and it ain't no more, ever!

Just because he's a Third Party Candidate doesn't mean that he can't be above criticism. And possible indictment for sedition.
