Looking to volunteer with Theme Camp set-up on the Playa

Hello there!

I'll be headed to black rock for the 3rd time this year and am really excited. I hope to arrive on Saturday and am eager to help out with Theme Camp set-up. To tell you a little about me, I'm a graphic designer / digital artist and live in New York City. Please email me if you're looking for help!

Kudos on being smart and looking early, rather than waiting till the last couple weeks before the event. What sort of camp are you looking for? What do you offer that will make a camp want you to join them?

I participated in 2003 with Camp Aetheria, aka "Podville," last year I helped set-up Poly Paradise. Each year I go to burning man excited to experience what that year holds in store. I can offer help of any kind - basic unload, set-up & assemble type work) which is what I've done in the past. I don't necessarily need to find a camp (if space is an issue) my biggest interest is participation and getting there early, as I enjoy being a part of the building of Black Rock City.

I don't blame you for wanting to show up early. Early Access Passes for the Moonshine Tavern will probably be limited this year since our camp size has doubled and we'll need all of our people there to set up. Someone out there will need your help I'm sure.

Good for you for staring early, but I do enjoy shitting all over the asshats that hit eplaya for free tix and early passes about a week before the event.
