Whoa! Should have put the "closed for repairs" sign up!

Helping some friends here in town with the bar they are opening in March. My latest project is a faux brick finish on the kitchen doors.

Beelzabub is in the details... The taping takes about twice as long as the painting, and the shadowing will take even longer, but it will match an existing brick wall in the building.

My first time in this bar so I thought I'd step up with my favourite smooth tipple: Amaaaarruuuuuuuuuulaaaa. And yes, you do have to say it like that, always.

Hi ya Mozy! I found out last weekend what it takes to get a Costco carport to flip over on it's top in the wind - bent poles and all. (At 3:00am, no less).

Yep - we weren't in it at the time, but over in the next campsite in our old RV. The gods were with us - the "bar" table that was inside it was still standing intact, bottles and all.

Beautiful here Boxy - it's going to be 75 degrees here today, cloudless blue sky and BIG surf from the weekend storm. (Makes it hard to stay here in the office when my board is outside on my car). I keep telling myself I'm getting too old to surf - and self just doesn't care.

Oh yeah - *bunny slides a cheeseburger with bacon under the banjo box with a request for good surf music*

The hardest part of the ocean for me these days is getting in and out of the damn wetsuit - what a pain in the ass!
