Greetings all!
This will be the first burn for the wife and I and we are supper excited to be involved!
We will have a friend or two there but it is always good to e-know a few more people before going ;)
We are located in sunny San Mateo, CA and we love music and games. I am a huge steampunk fan and I'm slowly bringing the wife around lol
Greetings from some more newbies!

Welcome Home Zorch!!
It' true... the Survival Guideis an important document for certain.
You're first burn will be a good one I suspect. The Steampunk thing is a growing vibe at The Burn. Hang out and get to know folks around here. There's plenty of information to be gleaned.

First Time Burner Sayin' Hey!
:D Hi Fellow Burners, I'm new and can't wait to check this thing out. Will be coming on a bus. I can't believe I'm actually going to be part of this awesome thing. I hope to have some friends coming with me but could end up being solo....either way, it's going to be an experience of a lifetime. PEACE.

Hi Jeanie!!!
If you’re coming on a bus, do you mean like a Greyhound bus? If so, first make sure they run to Gerlach and second be sure to allow some room for your week’s worth of water and food, too! But for all I know, you could be coming on a groovy technicolored old school bus with roof racks. Heh Heh…

Hey LeChat Noir,
So that was 2008 American Dream...and I just now saw your reply. LOL. I came on Green Tortoise from San Francisco, which I highly recommend. Needless to say going to Burning Man changed my life for the better. I still look forward to it every year and that year I met one of my closest friends who camps with us, that's you Green Monkey! and Ponder, Bunny Toes and Silverguy also are dear friends from '08. Nowadays I come on a different bus, the Burner Express, from Reno. This is a great way to go as well.
See you in the dust!
