Hot Monkey Sox is back for a third season of daily Sock Monkey making workshops. Come spend a day in the shade making your own Sock Monkey. We'll be on the map near Kidsville, just look for the 12-foot Sock Monkey and the Hot Monkey Toss - our giant monkey slingshot.

We need your help... we're starting our annual Sock round-up. Start corralling your stray socks from under your bed and behind the dryer. Stow them with your burner gear and bring them when you come to make your monkey. We provide all the other materials. Come discover your inner-Sock Monkey.

Socks do not have to be traditional "Sock Monkey" rag-cotton socks with the red heel. Any crew style socks with a defined heel and six inch top (or more) will work. We dye white socks a variety of colors. It's really fun to mix and match different colored and patterned socks.

And you're welcome to spank your monkey, but yes... please use your own sock.
