Troll Abuse Anonymous
I need help. I can't seem to stop flogging a dead horse. I read some of these threads and think of something silly or amusing (at least to myself), and then it sparks off a debate in my head.
Evil Rob: "Ooohhh, I just thought of something funny and mean."
Nice guy Rob: "This is needless and hurtful. You shouldn't stoop down to their level. Put down the keyboard and walk away."
Evil Rob: "But it's funny and makes me feel good in a juvenile way! Why can't I do this?"
Nice guy Rob: "It hurts the style and timing of an actual factual and well structured argument. Plus it makes you look like a child unable to support a mature debate."
Evil Rob: "Hey, lookit this- I just drew a mustache on the Mona Lisa!"
Nice guy Rob: "He he he. That was kind of funny. Oh crap. NO WAIT I DIDN"T MEAN THAT! Dammit...too late."
Anyone else need to join the support group?

Troll abuse etiquette question
Okay, okay, okay.
Hypothetical questions here.
If our board's current most prominent troll should happen to post an e-mail about an issue that concerns it, and maybe and maybe not ourselves, which happens to contain (along with its usual whining about the process that it won't participate in) an e-mail address with no indication that there was permission given to post said address how can I draw attention to troll's borishness without feeding said troll?

Re: Troll abuse etiquette question
You can always report abuse to the admin at eplaya at burningman dot com. Aside from being able to give formal warnings, we also have the ability to edit posts, should anyone's contact or other private info need to be removed.theCryptofishist wrote:Okay, okay, okay.
