Does anyone know of an online art site

Post by terlingua » Wed Apr 02, 2008 10:50 am

Is there an online website that is a changing art project that I could run on an unused old PC that I have laying around.

I set up an old PC with a RSS screensaver to go through PICs I have on it and also to display RSS stories and that is kind of fun but I was wondering if someone has an art project website I could browse.

Thanks

I went out on deviantart.com but didn't see anything that changes. I"m looking for something that changes while you browse it.

You're probably convinced that you're making sense and articulating what you want/need but I *swear* I have no idea of just what the hell you're asking of this board's readers or what you actually want insofar as direction or a resource.

I'll try to explain it as best I can

I'm trying to find a web site that is something like 77 million paintings by brian eno. The website should be dynamic and constantly changes, you know like art that can be done on a computer. Not just a bunch of JPEGs, I'm sure there's something out there. If my computer was newer I would just run 77 million paintings on it but this computer doesn't have DVD.

About the only thing I could come up with is this URL: http://www.animationtrip.com/films/

which is just a series of Flash animations.

Well a quick search did not turn it up but i did not check all the links.. when I put it in google I got

Results 1 - 10 of about 675,000 for 77 million paintings

I have to admit that I did not search very far. If there is a website that is running it you should be able to find it. Eventually..

You might be better off to just buy the software (about $35.00) and a DVD drive. (about$35.00 or $50.00 if you want a burner)
