Now, this is an electric motorcycle, but it has a boiler and puffs steam out the rear for no reason other than looks.

I think I saw this before the burn.
It should have been out there somewhere.
Very nice up close.

It would be a shame if I had to resort to self-deception to preserve my faith in objective reality.

I remember seeing this steam powered bicycle posted somewhere or other. Forgive me if it has been previously posted on here.

So, uh, I'm imagining stopping the bike to talk and straddling the frame in front of the seat as I am wont to do. Yikes!

The Bomb Bay Tea Company has suffered an unfortunate airship accident involving a record size air-Kraken and our company flagship, The Victoria's Revenge.

A portion of the crew and cargo has been left in the American Desert to hunker down while the main ship is repaired. Among the cached equipment is a small velocipede, escort air-ship, and a samovar.

Come enjoy the steampunk silliness where ever we wind up (theme camp applied for). We will be trying to convert the natives to our brand of tea weekdays starting at noon.

Half-clothed fur wearing savages welcome.

inviting Phil and Unjon to my new theme camp this year: Black Rock City Retirement Home. We will be placed out by the trash fence and will have rocking chairs, shuffle board and prune juice Prunacoladas.

N-joy!

I had a drink with the blokes that brought this thing to Mtn View. They're having trouble making it work, looks like it picked up some corrosion on the way over.

Yeah, the article says because it's hand-cranked, set up must be very precise or friction is too much to overcome by us mere mortals. No wonder they never built it in Babbage's time.
