The universal PC repair tool that never fails to "fix" a problem for good!

This hardware is highly recommended for Windows Vista users to smack themselves in the head with as they wonder why they got suckered in to such a horrible OS.

The problem is a bit more complex than that...
I have internet connection, connection test comes out ok, the software will update fine, but when trying to activate wiiconnect24, it fails and lists error 220602. The solution I have found is to modify some of the router settings, however, the wifi network I am using is not controlled by me, so I have no access to change those settings.
Some friends opened up a new bar & have a Wii setup there, I have become the video projector & Wii technician. Internet on the wii is not crucial, I would just like my miis from home to be able to go visit the bar & vice-versa.

I don't have an answer to the Wii problem but having spent hours trying to link 2 Nintendo DS's (1 DS + 1 DS Lite) together and finally buying the Nintendo WiFi USB adapter to get the job done I'm curious how this one turns out.

Yep. Not mine, but has strong signal @ the bar the Wii is in.DVD Burner wrote:Is the wii you are connected to the internet on gaining access via someone elses router and not your own?
Aha! I shall try that when next I am down there...DVD Burner wrote:If so, you should be able to gain access to that router by just inputing the 192.168.1.1 address. do you know what brand of router it is?
Can you enter a specific address from the Wii...?
No, I don't know what brand they are using.
Anything helps, the nintendo site is shite when it comes to fixing things. (in my experience anyway)

You can probably find a pirate version of Sony Vegas out there. It's pretty simple to use.stargeezer wrote:I am still looking for some good video editing software. Are there any suggestions of one I should look at, or ones that I should stay away from? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

Music/audio mp3 or wav or cd file to trigger events
Been doing some looking and options are $$
What I want to do is fire my propane sound cannon in sync with some music. Example the cannons in AC/DC For Those About to Rock We Salute You.
It would be something like recording 2 tracks of audio/voice, and having that synched with that a relay ouptut to open and close the gas valve , then another output to do the ignition. Gas valves are now on a relay, and so is the ignition. Presently operated by pushbuttons.
similar to Chris Piper's PYROBEAT which is freakin awesume

DMX lighting controllers you can trigger anything with them. you can find them on line cheep. some that Even operate by a small remote control. What I want to do is fire my propane sound cannon in sync with some music.
Did you try to call spectra,
well I had talked to them about the laser when I first bought it used.
It wasn't cheep at that time. I am afraid to see what it is now ten years later.
Or if they are still around I guess I should start looking.

I would suspect that if Spectra is still around, they would want to rebuild the laser themselves, not just send you a new tube. With all the liability issues today, I doubt they would take a chance on someone they don't know. I wish you luck, but I suspect that one just went down for the count.
If you want to reach for the stars, you better have long arms!
Have you considered using the propane gun as a flame speaker?
There is a cheap trick for making them using an amplifier and other approaches.
They do work though.
I can't believe they aren't all over burning man.
For video, consider linux. I found a site called linuxappfinder.
This is an excellent source of info.

I'm still looking for software for hard drive storage and management.

Another question for you guys -
I have 2 computers and want to back one up to the second, or to a seperate drive in the same computer - Any settings that will automatically save to two drives?
What i am looking for is complete redundancy. I simply want to switch drives if one fails.
I deally i would like every program, os and data copied to another drive, and thereafter automatically.
any thoughts?

Are you using windows xp?
there is a feature called, " Files and settings transfer".
You should do that first if you are using windows xp on both computers if you dont want or know about ghosting.
I wont go any further about directions till you let me know which operating system you are using.
maybe some others in this thread know where I am going to in case I dont post back in a reasonable enough amount of time.

Question/advice: Looking for small pair of speakers, or even Dolby setup (5 speakers) that are small/thin enough to place inside pockets on a jumpsuit/tactical vest. Might even see about having them sewn in. Have looked at some options. Last year had iPod speakers mounted into headsheild mask. I'd like something powered (needs batteries to push sound). Ran across some or used before? (Looks around for Bonz...need some tunage on my walks

The best thing for the money I've seen are the japanese made sport walkman speakers.
These are yellow and gray and very efficient.
I don't know if they make them any longer.
They are about $15 and out perform much more expensive powered speakers.
I'm using a pair of the black ones on my computer sound outlet, no amp.
There are headphone amps that adapt 5 channel to two speakers.
There are better options at much higher costs.
I guess you can put 5 channel on an outfit, but I'm not sure the sound will be worth it in a small area.
I found this too.
Not the same speakers, but maybe it will give you ideas.
