Hello everyone. :D I heard about Burning Man a while back and decided that someday I wanted to go. It seems like an experience that is completely out of the realms of what I've experienced so far, but intruging enough of a challenge that it stuck to my mind.
I won't be able to go this year, but when I get a job, I'm going to start a little fund for Burning Man 2009.
Meanwhile, I'm here on ePlaya so I can continue learning as much as possible so that way my first experience there won't be a bad one.
Other than that, I'm 18 years old and in Washington state, although I lived in Orange County CA for the first 14 years of my life.
Uhm... I'm not sure what else I could post here so if you have a question (or many!) that you want me to answer (for some reason), then go ahead!
Yes, it's another one..

For sure MariMaeMelodia, it's not too late for this year! Just do some fundraising (have an art show, say benefits go to funding to an arts festival), maybe get a few buddies to help/camp with, ancd that "09" could just as easily be an "08"

Thanks for the encouragement everyone :)
I would definitely be going this year if I was more prepared.. however, I'm still pretty much like "lolwut".
I'm used to long showers (although I just cut my shower time in half).. I don't drink as much water as I should.. and I'd be the farthest away from home for the first time without my parents.
By the 2009 burn, I should be prepared both physically as well as emotionally, but I'm sooo not ready this year. I'd dehydrate faster than you could say "pickle" and I'd be too scared to leave the tent!
