Thanks Timezone! I'll look in to it.

Wohoo! top of 12! That means at this point camp will be 1/3 larger than last year. (completely unscientific)

I'm going to escalate and say a half larger... This is because, this year, we have two chill spaces, one musical and one not. Fabulous!

To steal Stefanie's word, I'm pre-missing you all. Dreamcatcher, you've got to stop by! Would love to hear about your travels.

Love to all from my ridiculously overbooked life.

P.s. Those of you that are thinking to volunteer, get talking to Stef. Emails are flying around and the groups are scheduling NOW. I've head from three different teams in the last week. There are a ton of cool ways to get out there, interact, give back, and be a part.

Also, a great way to make sure you don't get stuck in camp. Stag Camp does that to people. It's hard to leave, even with the playa calling...

I'm still in for the greeter shift, if we are still going as a camp.

You are so right about getting out of camp this year.
I think the only one who stayed in camp more than me was Motsky.
But if someone needs help with anything, I'm always there to help.
My leg is feeling a whole lot better these days so I plan on being a lot
more mobile.

Ok... business first....! I am still up for the greeters and so is my girlfriend... but only if it is the whole camp thing.... I have heard from dpw once and then never again so oh well there loss space ports gane..... speaking of which i have heard from the space port and they said they would love to have me back for more shifts so :) can't wait for that... ok and in other news!!!

Wahoo i had an awesome time out on the playa simulator 4000 this weekend.... that is the nick name for The Village ( 114 acres of desert that my friend owns out in Borrego Springs, CA...) in Anza-Borrego desert where we have most of the local events and because the wind and sand and weather are WAY worse there then out on the playa.... so anything that might make its way to burning man like shade structures, tents, camping gear, etc makes it there first for a good testing we also nicked name it the R&D Lab cause it is where we refine ideas for things that we want to bring to the playa..... and more good news :D I HAD AN AWESOME time with my girlfriend while she was here visiting from Canada so.... :) i am feeling mega happy lately...and have my emotional and mental batteries all nice and charged up for a little while and the stars have aligned next week i get my birthday money from the family early so i can buy my burning man tickets :) SWEET!!!!! MY birthday is may 7th but they saw on the sight about the while supplies last thing and know how much i want to go so everybody is giving me like 75 to 50 bucks to help me get the tickets for my birthday :) and my dad even though he can be a bit of a tight wad with loans said he would give me 300 or 400 for the ticket fund so :) FINALLY EVERYTHING LOOKING UP FOR THE FUNKY MONKEY MAN OHHHHH YEAH!!!! See i knew my karma could not stay shitty for ever i am to nice of a guy.... WAHOOO YAH GO ME GO ME GO ME :::: Starts dancing around the thread::::: GO ME ITS MY BIRTHDAY SOON!! OH YEAH WAHOOO OH YEAH!!! Sorry lol i just mega super excited :)

Awesome, guys-- Stef is coordinating with the dude on actual date/time of said greeters shift, and then she is going to email people personally and have you sign a contract in blood upon which your soul depends.

Just kidding.

Or am I? Muahahahahah.

In other news, I just signed on with the Center Camp Set-Up Documentation Posse to interview, write, photograph and otherwise record... Perfect for this English major chicka. And.

I will be on playa 8/19. So get your little booties out there.

Much love.

FMM, I haven't heard anything from DPW either, even after making a special trip to San Francisco to talk to the man in charge. He did say they have had over 500 people volunteer this year though...
Like you said, it's their loss! So it looks like I'm officially with you guys now, STAG CAMP baby!
Like melancholy harlot, I too signed up for the Cafe Doc team, if I don't get this one I'm going to have to re-evaluate how I feel about volunteering, (I mean, who do I have to fuck?) but I'm still going to work shifts at the spaceport and the Cafe during the event.

Greeters looks like a fun place to volunteer, One of the happier ones anyways. I am guessing that the perimeter is one of the less exciting places, maybe not. Never volunteered there.

Yeah, that would be cool to have a campmate at work, and it might help ensure we both get to work on time!

CHECK THIS OUT !!!!!

There have been over 10,000 views on our little thread!!
I think we are third, behind" Booby Bar." ( Great bunch of people!!!)
and" APOKILIPTKA." (still trying to figure out what the hell they are talking about)

I just had an epiphany! Or maybe just a brain fart.

I think we need to have a "Stag" party at a" Booby Bar "
I don't think that has been done on the playa yet.
Neither camp is anything like their name so it should be an adventure to say the least.

And "APOKILIPKA" , should we venture into the unknown???
To boldly go where no stagger has gone before.
Hell yes!!

What do you think?

The booby bar people are awesome!! I'll take the trek with you. Perhaps I'll drive. Apokoliptica scares me but I'll go there too. I don't think I would do well with interrogation.

Wow!! I made it to the end, that was a big read! I feel as though I know you all already!

My friend and I are coming over from the UK for our first ever BM! This camp sounds absolutely perfect for me, I didn't want to have to worry about what time I'd be eating and having to pay fees etc, but I really wanted to get involved with a camp and a community, whilst still being able to do my own thing!

Now to convince my friend as I think she's keen on the Booby Bar! So having a stag party at booby bar would be awesome!

A stag party with the booby bar sounds great. Let's make this happen. How about someone who knows the booby people reach out and discuss??? (I nominate Opie and Shell???)

Date/time for Greeter's shift still in the air; Stef has been in contact with the schedulers, who are working out the calendar now.

It's been a long time since a countdown... Danny, what are we at? Less than FOUR MOONS till the burn!

Much love.

Went there a couple times last year to meet one of my eplaya connections, Desert Duck. the burners hosting the dome are all great folks... nothing to fear, if you come prepared...
They know of Stag Camp.
