I tore my fingernail on righthand and have a spilt going on the left from throwing freight. Hands are very delicate, and we take them for granted when normal, and when they 'ouch', it takes over the mind :(

I fell onto rocks from a tugboat, Got back in the Tug with every crewmember I past looking at me aghast. They tried to help me and I was too pissed for assistance, They all followed me to the Head, I look in Mirror and had torn a flap of meat from the hairline on my left side all the way to my ear. You could see my skull -

I then accepted their assistance.

180 stitches, and lots of antibiotics later I was back together.

Ouch. Skull? I'd pass out. Ow!

Get mylarry to tell you about the locust tree thorn that pierced his thigh and he had to whack off most of the branch, limp back to camp and get one of the other kids to pull it out with the BBQ tongs. The other kid either threw up or passed out or both, I can't remember. he ahs some doozies.

I have had this experience 3 or 4 times. You can make some new friends if you ask them to apply lotion for you. Don't be scared to do it either you would be amazed how willing people are to spread lotion all over your back if you just ask.

Thirty years later, I STILL have an artificial freckle on my "German helmet" from Soldering In The Nude. (Hey, it was HOT outside, and I had a Heathkit clock radio that needed assembling!)

I don't think 72 is even close.
There are many more older burners coming in the gate than you might think.
They all seem to be having a good time too.

Gawd- do I REALLY look 72?!? I gotta start using more sunblock! Or do I just look 72 on Eplaya?
I think i was about 13 or 14 (Earth years) old when I rained hot lead on Little Fritzie. And now, a month later, we can move on. More sunblock AND more check-ins with Eplaya, I guess!

It's all the harsh Michigan winters, plus the digoxin that Dow's been dumping in the Saginaw.

Nobody's going to notice THIS year....I just saw "Iron Man" and plan to build a kickass playa robosuit to conceal my shriveled, wrinkled frame. AND it'll have a zip-out flannel liner for Michigan winters!
