Oh, the years go by
But how did I let 5 years of Burning Man go by without ever having an eplaya account? No idea... anywhos... I'm a burner from the Reno area, 18 years old, this summer will be Burn #6 for me. Yeah, I was a youngin' my first time, but I was kinda born into it cuz my dads been goin since the days back on the beach in San Fran. Since the year I was born, actually. Anyways I'm involved with The Get Lit Asylym (formerly Art Car Repellent Camp) and the Nevada Barbarians (our momma camp). I will be attending UNR in the fall (I already had my professors excuse my first week of absences, a pre-planned "family vacation"). And I will graduate from Wooster in about 3 weeks WOOT! Thats about it tho..yea :D

When do burners start?
I had a car come in the gate with newborns to grandmother.
The only new burner was the baby.
Art Car Repellent Camp??

It would be a shame if I had to resort to self-deception to preserve my faith in objective reality.

The subject of kids on the playa has been beat to death on here (although I think not in recent years), but I'll mention that it's a bad bad thing.
Not 'cuz I personally think so, but because the whole event will be forced to tone down by those that are "concerned about the children". Which sucks.
And unfortunately Larry Harvey is all about BRC being "family friendly".
Goddamm hat-wearing, disconnected freak.

Ragbashpup, I think that's a great thing that you plan for your kid to attend later in life. My dad told me as soon as I turned 13 I could go and we actually didn't plan on it but he was leaving and told me to pack some clothes and a toothbrush and the rest is history.
And gyre, yes, I too would like to point out that we don't eat babies........[size=7]often[/size]
Captain Goddammit, I believe the badness of the situation relies on the parent. My parent is a complete douche bag but everyone else in my camp took care of me when I was younger.
Thus I have like 12 mommies. :)

Miss CrazyPirateGirl, if you enable the bbcode on your profile, the features might work.
