Our village is looking for big dome or tent for our center to have parties and show films. Any suggestions where we can buy something like that?? Thank you very much

Build a GIANT YURT! They are essentially arbitrarily scalable..

That would be AWESOME. Especially working out all the wigglies with the roof beams. Woot!

I'd love to have this problem!

If I had enough peeps, I could even do it almost entirely out of salvaged materials. And with the wonders of epoxy, you could laminate any size beams you needed.

You could have a serious wagon wheel for the center support.

Hehe.. I'll stop now.. FOR NOW!! Muhaha....

Look into finding a used GP Medium Tent? Big and heavy, but they hold up very well, even on the playa!

yea! I second that... Shelter Systems was a good bet for us. Somewhat affordable too. I saw lots of the SS Domes on the playa last year.
