What the fuck!

I just received a call about doing a dance floor over a 15x30 swimming pool for one night.

They want it all Plexiglas with lighting on the water. So they can see the water sparkle under their feet as they dance.

Sure we can…. It just cost money…hope you have a lot.

$50,000 down payment should do for a start.

More money than sense.

But Ragpup, you live here in Microsoftland... Hell, I know people who have 4 million dollar boats that don't even know how to set their anchor in shallow water properly. (Andrews Bay, just off Seward Park... it's only 40 feet deep... sometimes we have to do it for him!) I have friends here that are retired... at under 40 years old.
There are people that put up more $$ for Burning Man than you mighta ever imagined, too.
The crazy $$ that floats around is the only reason I stay here in this cloudy rainy town.

Last night I dreamt I was dating Morgan Freeman. In the dream, Ranger Genius kept teasing me about being a rich Hollywood wife and funding all future art projects.

The whole thing was rather disturbing. Morgan Freeman? He was attentive and sweet, that part of the dream was nice. Weird, weird, weird, but nice.

Okay, back to the Bar. What's trendy and far too alcoholic?

M - you dont have a thing for Morgan? i have had wierd dreams but never about Morgna Freeman. I dreamt i got in a fight with Burt Reynolds, on the set of Smokey and the Bandit.

Lately I have been writing my dreams down, and am trying to interpret them - funny stuff goes on in there.

Well, I think the first order of the day is to try and figure out if I am going to do something volunteer like when I am there this year. I trained for rangering two years ago, but never got the time when I was there. No way I can get to any of the ranger training sessions this year, so I guess that is out.
It's going to be alright.

So, there is no way I can bring any sort of large scale art, even small may be out of the question. I am limited to 2 checked bags (a third would be an extra $100 - and I think I can make do), so there is no way for me to bring much more than the basics. I'm sure something will turn up.
It's going to be alright.

I don't have any volunteer plans yet. I would like to do a greeter shift and a lamplighters shift. I guess I should get on that. I was even thinking of trying to do a slave shift at the center camp coffee cleaning up trash and such.

HEY SPUT!!!!

Are Jim and Cinde going this year? I have to start looking for flights, fuck. I have to coordinate with Shoegirl, rent a car..... fuck. I'll have to look for my old directions from titwi. where to shop, how to get to burning man. simple stuff.

Cool shit on the dance floor Mozy. I might just have to crash that party. Hey, I'm gonna be in California, for the first time, I might add, at the end of July for a wedding. Where do you live? I'll stop by for a cocktail.

BTW, can you get a fucking drink around here?

Hey Jewel, Dave,

Jim and Cinde (whoops gotta get that right) are not going this year. But we did exchange some emails a bit ago and they invited me to overnight there. When are you thinking about coming in?

Well, then I will likely run into the two of you on playa and not in Reno. I am still not sure where to camp. Booby Bar is certainly an option, but so far I have yet to camp with the same group twice.....well, except that the Booby Bar is not the same group, technically speaking....hmmmmmm

More thinking must occur.
