hello all! I was wondering if there are any people who are going to stay in Stag and are from Norhtern California? I think it would be fun to meet up with you guys before the main event..
Also I just got into repelling and want to do a fun one there and on my way back.
First of all:
Anyone is welcome to join if they are into this idea
Secondly:
Does anyone have any suggestions as where we should do it?
Aloha,
Emily

Emily,
Greetings from Chico!
I won't be at Stag, but I wanted to say hello nonetheless!
More than likely, I'll be playing at the Jazz Cafe near Center Camp most evenings followed by random visits to art installations and impromptu jam sessions on the saxophone.
Glad to see another burner from Chico on the eplaya.
Take care,
Eric

Hi Emily. You might ask the fire dept. Rescue guys with confined space or cliff training might give you locations. I think Upper Chico Creek has some short hops. Below Berryessa Dam, across Putah Creek are some cliffs I used to go in the sixties with ROTC Rangers. You have to swim or zipline across PG&E's cable. We used to go off the roofs of 5 story dorms. Grain elevators, high tension towers, cranes, ladder trucks, string lines across powerpoles. I was airborne army in early 70's, nothing beats rapelling off the skids of a Huey. Ahhhh, the good ol' days...I'm just south of Gridley, not a Stagger but a solitary camper in the suburbs usually 4:30 at F or G Streets usually in sight of the pottybank.Come on by for a shot -o-tequila or a cold beer.

looking for a Sacramento based camp;
Hey, to all you burners out there. We'd like a camp to call home for a week. We like many types. If you have some room for our 20" 1976 Dodge sportsman RV and would like a couple that's fun and easy going, let us know.[/img]
