sabkha
(link)

Sabkha is an Arabic name for a salt-flat ordinarily found nearby sand dunes. These relatively flat and very saline areas of sand or silt form just above the water-table where the sand is cemented together by evaporite salts from seasonal ponds.

History

In the mid-1800s, particularly during the California Gold Rush, the Applegate-Lassen Cut-Off of the California Trail left the main route of that Trail near present-day Rye Patch Reservoir, and crossed the Black Rock Desert, on the way to Goose Lake in northeast California, and the California gold fields. The explorers who mapped the routes through the area and the emigrants who followed them named the Black Rock Desert for a prominent point near a spring along the route now known as Black Rock Point. It is still often called simply "the Black Rock".

(Cc enthusiastically paces into the Bar, starting the day off e a r l y and loaded with freshly ground whole bean. See's the black cat asleep in the rafters, sets out a scratching post for him in the morning. See's Captain G. mixing ice on the yacht, Mozy and Pine shot glassing, TITWI taking a quick break between the rushes, and mojo reserving it up. Begins a new pot of Joe for late night/early morner's/time zones. Walks over to a spot on the wall, tacks up a folded copy of a 2 tickets confirmation print :D Finds a nice corner of the dome, lays down on a mat with jumbo poster board and charcoal. Slips on headphones and begins to d r i f t away. Completily...inside/outside of mind-body-spirit-hope-love-aspirations-inspirations, and essentially blissful lit oblivion...(presses play on CD player...)

"When I Remember"-

That boy is gone
Sometimes I miss the way he wept at night
To be still and not run
To be rocked to sleep in your light
These days there is not much that will bring tears to my eyes
But when I remember who I am aand who you are
When I remember...

A cloud moves in, rain falls, thunder strikes
And sunshine breaks through the clouds

I am walking blind
So distracted that I don't even feel when you hold me
When did I grow such thick skin
You are my sunshine and rain
My joy and sweet pain
I'm a spotless stain
That boy is gone
But nobody moves me like you do
When I remember

CHORUS

A cloud moves in, rain falls, thunder strikes
And sunshine breaks through the clouds
I can cry out of sorrow and joy
Every drop of rain turns into a crystal in the sun
So wash my eyes, my clothes, my skin, my bones, my soul
My feet, my love
I'm not forgotten
I'm in your thoughts cause' I feel sunshine in the rain

To this day nobody moves
Nobody
Nobody moves me like you..."
-Blindside song

Yes, were ALMOST there!

In years past this place has been hopping!
Some may say that, its just not the same anymore...I refuse to believe that!
This my dear family is a turning point...I beleive the reasons why this place aint hopping,is that everyones magical artistic abilities have blossomed even more then in past years!
We are all busy making dreams into realities!!!!!!

Forge on wonderful people! We will visit in the dust, but now, we work on making those awesome dream projects....REAL!

Sees a new delivery of Fuji apple sake sitting on the bar.

Opens Box~

Pulls down pants then take an ink stamp pad and puts penis prints on each bottle of the case of Fuji apple sake. ~ Writes SPECIAL RESERVE along with a scribble signature over each penis print. Put them back in the box and seals the box backs up.
Sets case back on bar.

Slips out trap door~

I saw this happen to some one who ordered a case of wine and had it sent to the shop.

We talked the guy who did it out of using his dick so he just used his thumbprint.

The fun ensued when the person opened the case. OH how he went on about how they had made a mistake and sent a reserved stock. and some how the wine tasted better. And how we where wrong about him buying this cheep wine.

We milked it for a week.

Come to think about it we should have just let him use his dick for the stamp.
