first timer from Modesto

Post by papasteve » Sun Jun 01, 2008 9:06 pm

Greetings from Modesto. I'm going to Burning Man for the first time. As an old guy who's been wanting to do this for years, I'm taking my 25 year old son to look after me. I'm checking out the sites and getting lots of good info. Looking forward to a great trip.

Hi, I'll be going to BM this year, it's my second time. I moved to Merced recently and wanted to find some BMers nearby. Wanted to bounce some ideas for the playa with pros. Is there a BM community in Central Valley?

Certainly in/around Sacramento.

Hey guys, im the son that will be watching over my dad. Haha. I am really looking forward to my first BM with my dad and to the years of BM to come.

Im sure he would love to caravan with others to the BM site. Ill mention something to him... however i live in Oregon and am meeting him there in my own vehicle. SO you'll have to contact him.

ibdave - he was a high school teacher at Beyer...

Hey there Papasteve, I too am a bit of an oldster and I too am bringing my son to watch over me. I'm glad to know that we have children for reasons other than just being an ATM for them. See ya in the dust.
