Emergen-C is in foil packets, probably platicized. Don't pull the top all the way off and put the packet immediately in your MOOP pocket where you'll be putting all your trash and the MOOP you'll pick up along the way. Empty it in camp into a secure container.

You might even want to label those bottles so you doesn’t get confused and take a drink out of the wrong bottle. There is nothing worse than taking a big drink out of a bottle of wiz in the middle of the night….that is unless you are into that sort of thing.
Many years ago my Mom saw a pregnant women hunched over her car and went to her aid.

When she got close to her, she saw that the woman was hunched over from laughing very hard and not in pain.

The woman told my Mom what happened... she was on her way to her doctor's office with a sample of her pee in a whisky bottle.

She had to park her car for a quick errand and when she returned she found that her car was broken into...

and the whisky bottle was stolen!

Why does a pregnant woman have empty whiskey bottles laying around?
Believe nothing, no matter where you read it, or who has said it, not even if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense.

No clue... but a good question.

This occurred before there was recycling (the late 50s). Also at the time, drinking alcohol and cigarette smoking were not considered hazards to the fetus.

would you still recommend electrolyte beverages of some sort if you are bringing salty foods such as pretzels and tortilla chips?

Yes ... that said, I HATE HATE HATE ermergen-c. Gatorade and such are too sweet. Fizz whatever is yucky. I end up throwing lime juice and salt in my water or tea.

You're going to put good honest American conglomerates out of business with that hurtful practice. Shame!

Anyway, that's a good home-made Gatorade, with a squeeze of lemon or lime, a pinch of salt and some sugar if you're into energy drinks.

Then crumble up some No-Doz and B-complex and you have homemade Red Bull.

And gravitate towards the shade.
