Rum
Rum
Hi, I'm BitterDan and I'm an alcoholic. That being said, does anyone have any insight into some premium rums? I have become quite fond of the Devil's Elixir and I wanted to test my palette against some fine rums. Any suggestions?

American rum is considered industrial - it is the by-product of sugar production, and it is distilled from molasses. True rum is agricultural rum - it is distilled from the pressing of sugar cane. The difference is night and day. Look for rum brands that we mention in our pages, and you'll have a rum that is a fine as any cognac you've ever tasted. Sip it neat.
