OH MY!
Ok....watching the Chocolate porn, well....kinda made my mouth(and others parts) water......nudge nudge wink wink!
Sorry I was out of the loop for a couple days...had an unexpected last minute visit with my dear dad! Was fantastic! He helped Titwi build the art car trailer and I think I have him interested in attending BM in 09'.
He's a wonderful guy, but like alot of us can relate, lost in the world of reality. Lives in a very small town, with no real sign of intelligence.
This has become very very damaging to him, as he was in a critical car accident 20 or so yrs ago, which left him with only his high IQ intact.
He lost parts that lead to parts, but is definatley not invalid.
He is an amazing man that has no one to talk to phylisophically.
Thats his Favorite past time! He finds that in the real world everyone is greedy and wants something for nothing. And cant see past the end of their noses to even sit back and enjoy a great conversation.
I told him about the beautiful people of BM, how you will never be the same when you see and feel a world like BM.
I tried to explaine how everyone out there can be themselves...no matter what that meant to the individual.
That no one would try to judge him.
That everyone would HUG him...hehe to be prepared for that!
He's extremely excited, but reserved at the same time.
I have a wee bit of reservations that it might blow his mind right out of his ears. But not enough to keep him from it.
I will do everything in my power to bring my father to BM next year.
It might very well be the greatest gift I could gift him with.
Like I said after my first year..."there ARE other people like me,in the world"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love ya Bar!

No one poured a drink for nearly 12 hours while you were waiting for me to answer? First things first - glugglugglug - sipsipsip - ahhhhh.
No. And it makes me sad to say so. I have to wrap up Noi's estate by mid-October and there's just too much shizz to go through. I know it was barely a fraction of a fraction of the Playa experience, yet being with you in Reno and Sacramento, being embraced by your love and generosity, gave me a high that I'm still on. I'll carry that with me.
On the other hand, if I hem and haw about 2009, you have my permission to have your way with me in any form you think appropriate . . . I believe that Mereth is already lining up some Sicilian gentlemen who are up to the job.

"and I am getting nervous! Not bad, but excited....... "
Just be EXCITED...nervous, is like jealousy, very very useless emotion, and widely over used by many people.
And dont forget to leave your expectations blowing in the wind somewhere in between Utah and the Nevada border.
OH, perfect idea Red Sunflower....get 2 red balloons....one with helium, then other one fill with all the things you will expect...(cause we all talk about it so much)...take those expectations, blow them into the regular balloon, then tie the helium balloon to it...set, go, release!
weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

I can never mamage to save the beer, Usually there is no beer left, there is always a couple people walking around picking up bottles and peering into them as though they will magically refill, or putting them to thier lips as though they are in the desert.....

(Cc struts in, pretty f-ing pleased
Just picked up 2 tickets at the post office (SNAP! That was f a s t- ordered last Friday, and got the signature confirmation yesterday, so one week.) Possible want to save to get another ticket for a friend incase they can't. I ask you - What is happiness unless you have other human beings to share it with. Granted, I love & cherish my alone time, but, in order to thrive with a life while your here on Earth, doesn't it count to try to open up to *one another* and share ideas, experiences, and joy? Damn right it does
Alas---I am an artist first and foremost, with a pulsing humanitarian heart. Sweet mercy how I love my fellow neighbors
Can't wait to see the dust on your faces and star glitters in your eyes...

In moments it is priceless, those bits of silent respite. Though they are but counterpoint, for ultimately it would be nothing but ourselves, sitting there peering into the fog, waiting for someone to happen by that we may show them what wonderful things we have found.CLARKcon wrote:I ask you - What is happiness unless you have other human beings to share it with.
We need interaction… it’s a reminder that we are still alive!!!

Absolutly right LCN... it's in our nature to communicate. You can entertain, amuse, and even impress yourself with your own actions & thoughts. But in order to gain true wisdom and insight, we n e e d outside perspective. Without the ones we've known (teachers, fam, friends, lovers, accquantices, passing glances) we don't get the full spectrum. (whew!
Quite deep and philosophical this morning...could be the 4 shot frappachino I just had...or...just...maybe...I'm starting to notice the things that are truly important to me, in my life, and what I can do with the time I have to see that it brought to the surface, the light- I'm ready brother! I WANT TO LIVE...
Let's get this show on the road... ... ...where's my coffee cup?
