...so the question du jour in the bar will be....

What projects did you get done over the weekend?

Here's a shot to help get ya started....

We worked on the playa frog trailer, made the upolestry seating. Went to the Sparks Spring Street Vibrations and perfomed upstairs in the VIP longe with Glowies then Outside on the main street w/ fire.

We have a memory foam topper, but it goes to the playa and tops our self-inflating queen backpacker mattress. I like it but it doesn't fit under my sheets on the tall mattress I have now. Deep pocket sheets aren't cheap.

AntiM, Sew thick elastic bands on the corners of the regular sheets to overcome the depth of the foam.Makes a strap corner.

Husband and I finalized the shower plan.
And the waterless kitchen.

Today I went to a new retro clothes shop named Junkee here in Reno.
Got a NEW great red corset for cheapo.

Also went to Salvarmy and got groovy pillow cases to make into curtains for our 62 Winnie.

I have already started to dream of Burnining Man in HD. It's not too soon? Right? (I am a freak, I knew it)

(laughing) No, it's not to soon **burn** :D Question is, is it "too late"? No, there is still plenty of time...time that I will need every minute in order to get things/ideas ready. I ordered "insert *surprise*" last week and just approved the design. I have the design for "insert *surprise 2*" made up (something we've needed for years), and will hopefully send it off next week. Man-was working some mindless, boring shit tasks at work last night and I started to drift off mentally --- thinking about propane bursts --- low, far away eletronic thumping --- laughing---it's really going to be hard to focus that last week of work...it will take every fiber & thread of my being to stay professional and in control of my excitement, without my co-workers thinking I am f a h c k i n g losing it :) (BOSS: "Hey CLARK, yeah...we've noticed a discrepancy with your job performance and ethics latily, and wellllllll, would like to take this opportunity to ask you to urinate in this small plastic container...")

Ah,-screw it...everybody's gonna get a slap on the ass and hi-5's!

Parks his fuzzy wonder just inside the door of the bar. Starts to head for the trap door…stops suddenly. Goes back and locks up the fuzzy wonder. Then presses a remote
And the trap door slowly lowers him into the underworld. With a screeching squeal the trap door stops showing just the top of his head

~Sounds of hammering crash bang bang bang~ the trap door shuts with a tight seal.

Happy Hump Day, PM & everybody!!!!! Yeah!!!!

Who's Drinking? I'm buying......

I was thinking of opening up the Ranch for decom starting Mon after the Burn. For those people still not ready to re-enter civilazation yet. I was thinking of maybe offically for a week. Hot tubs, center camp, nighttime desert walks/biking, sweatlodges, drumcircles, bonfires and friends. oh, and free.

After the burn, take the 395 South out of Reno all the way to Red Rock Road, make right, go exactly 10 miles, look on the right for the 25' Pyramid. you are here....

Heya Ragabashpup.... yea, the coolness prevails.... could be a sign of a long winter next year.....
I think the summer-ness is supposed to hit later this week, though.... I'm not holding my breath....

Maybe we should go play some desert golf with Rabbi.... Should be pretty nice there, about now................

Probably the real "milkshake" from There Will Be Blood:
Bourbon Milk Punch
Ingredients

1 1/2 oz bourbon
3 oz milk or half and half
1 tsp honey or sugar syrup
dash vanilla extract
Freshly grated nutmeg

Why not fly in? I am only 25 min from the Antelope Airport, bring your shorts, a towel and suncreen, and your good for a week or a week-end.

I got plenty of room, and there's plenty to do. Biking, Hiking, Golfing, Mountain Climbing, Moto-crossing, distance running, gold and silver mining, or you could do like me I do participatory resting, thinking, drinking, smoking, sleeping, planning and stuff.

A friend showed up to help up right the Pyramid....
