Like you should be right now, if you knew what was good for you!
I'm writing this from my laptop in my pew... we're on a break during a long sermon, and I'm using this time to spread the word to you all because I care so much.

Even though I believe in one less religion than you do Jane, I say good luck to you. It's a great idea for a camp, and I hope you find some people to share it with.

Well, I read through some of the responses. It's unfortunate, but it seems most people completely separate un-conformed spirituality from Christianity. I have to suppose the original poster doesn't make this assumption or the topic of Christianity at Burning Man wouldn't arise. It's funny how a Buddha is excepted at any such gathering, a cross maybe, but along with the name of Christ ??? No, you gotta get home before bedtime or your box will explode  Don't get me wrong, most people are completely excepting and open-minded, but I can tell when I'm getting the "if you only new freedom" look. I'm trying to safely make my way from the no-law but your own illusion Ville to the know what you know & live it valley. The distinguishing line is thin & pretty :) More sanely put, I've gone through a few transitions, I'm more convinced of my faith as a Christian than ever and I'm excited to make my way back to the forest, or the desert in this case. The core principles of unconditional love, non-judgment & the knowledge that you will experience exactly what you believe transcends any faith from Christianity to hippies, catholics, free spirits & atheists. I'd love a camp bold enough to state that the Christian faith does not hide in the city churches & bible groups. I may not make it this year, but I doubt the idea will die by the next. I'll check out the google group. kjj

P.S. Just read the shit list, love it, but tell me, why is it that Christianity isn't even seperated from Cathlics in most cases? Christian Scientists is not the same thing. It's just odd, the two "religions" are so different!

Having Jesus in your life clearly disables your computer's spellcheck function.

I guess bashing xtianity is the last refuge of the bigot.

Radical inclusiveness indeed.

I've always thought that meant trying to stretch yourself to understand, or at least respect; the Other. But it seems to have devolved into an echo chamber for people who agree with you.

A little primer on "organized" and not so organized religion....

Offered as a reminder that Christ-o-holics are really nothing more than a large minority in the overall scheme of things.

My version of radical inclusion is mocking everyone equally. I'd make fun of Satanists for not using spellcheck too.

Considering that they pioneered the use of "magick" I think even with spellcheck they aren't going to hit the mark.

Magick, as spelled with a K was intentionally spelled that way to differentiate Thelema practices from the rest of the shit the world associates with the word "magic".

No, I "got it" from spending over 13 years researching the subject and exploring my beliefs. Nice try at the slam, even though it fell flat. BTW, it's spelled "Wikipedia".
