Night when the Man will burn in 2008

The end date of this year's event is Sept. 1.
Does that mean that the night of burning the man will be between Aug 31 and Sept. 1?
Or between Sept. 1 and Sept 2?

the last day of Burning Man is on the Sunday before Labor Day. The Man Burns, officially, the day before, on Satuday night...two days before Labor Day.

Burning Man officially ends at 11:59PM Monday night (Labor Day). Nothing goes on Monday except a zillion people all trying to leave at the same time.
