Anyone need major help building something?

I'm trying to figure out what to do this Summer and one thing that keeps coming back to my mind is helping create something really memorable. Is anyone out there, preferably in the Western/Northwestern US building something big? I can trade full time+ work for a place to sleep or camp. I don't need much other than a bathroom, a floor or flat spot outside to set up a tent, and internet access.

I can weld steel, do basic machining, carpentry, sewing, whatever is needed. The main thing I'm lacking is artistic ability, so I'd need to find a project that's fairly well defined. The details of how to build something I can handle - I just don't know what to build. I also won't be able to contribute any money other that paying for my own basic needs.

So... if you have a project, know of one, or have a suggestion for a better way to find one please let me know!

I figured out that I'm going to sell everything I own and go traveling starting the end of the Summer. I'm not going to do a project of my own, but if I can help out with someone else's that would be cool.

I've never driven a tractor but don't see why I couldn't other than not being able to figure out why you'd need someone to drive a tractor...

your plan has been in the works for a while. you must be pretty excited. sounds like a great journey you're about to embark upon.....

....over here across the stateline we're about to make some hay. i'm sure you don't wanna have bales of hay as the project you help build...

Project "Bummer" here. We're planning on building a gigantic Hummer directly on the playa and will be out there around the 12th of August.

We've got a small crew coming from different parts of the world so let me know what kind of skills you have so that we can try and fit you in.
