I've begun to purify myself in preparation for the event.
I've begun to exercise and control my breathing ( I have a tendency to hyperventilate).
I am also spending more time out of the a/c to to help get my horns through the door so to speak.
Does anyone else do anything similar to this?

Purification ritual...
Thizz what it is, lets get things clear...
Yeah, I purify all year, though: Jack Daniels, a nice port (Sandemann is good for me), red wine. I sit at my desk all day at sea level in preparation for riding my bike all over the playa at 4,000 feet - really gets my heart pumping when I start out. I just let my breathing control itself, by the way. Huff and puff up the stairs, but don't even notice breathing when I'm here at my desk typing.
I don't have an air conditioner where I live, so I don't have a clue what horns have to go through what door, so to speak.
I'm pure. I'm prepared.

Like Phil- I do the same only my liquor of choice is Jose Gold-
I also live at sea level sooooo I'm thinking about riding my bike MORE.
I recently got a new car, (not new - newer) sooooo my bike tires need air. LOL
I'am however dancing around with the MUSIC FULL BLAST in the heat of the day in my house (I don't have air either soooooo It can get to be 100 in here, on a nice sunny summer day about 2pm- maybe even 115)...
And I have been drinking a lot of water- and I'm ALready PACking... I leave for my Spoiled Girl Tour Summer TOur 2008 on the 11 of August.
Soooo I have to start figuring out what I HAve to have and what I can Live without on the Playa. I travel from Hawaii so weight of baggage is a factor- they might even charge me for bags this YEAR
Soooo YES I'm working on it
