Looking for potter burnners

Post by pico11 » Wed Feb 25, 2004 4:26 pm

OK, it is not off the ground yet. But the idea is to install a Raku kiln on the playa. I am going to be able to provide the kiln and the propane, but I am in need of other potters to bring pieces to be fired and given away. This is my first shot to check the interest level.

I too am looking to do a Raku firing on the playa. I also have a kiln. Mybe we can join forces and have people build pots to be fired the night of the burn!

I wonder if anyone's tried to make playaclay out of the dust.....It's salty and gypsum-y, and might make a salt glaze at least......
