I have all of this stuff hanging from previous years that I keep hanging onto thinking I will loan it to someone else in my camp, maybe I'll find a use for again, yadda yadda. Forget that. Anything in my house that hasn't been used for a year needs to go!
Off the top of my head, I have:
cheap-o K-mart tent, worked great the one year I used it, pre-primed with playa dust
40ish quart cooler, a little dirty but not stinky
headlamp
a few strings of clear christmas lights
extension cords
thick blue bathrobe, good for early morning treks to the porta-potties
Misc hand tools and such
Purple rope light section (no A/C plug, not sure if it works)
Misc electrical and mechanical do-dads
Waist water bottle holding thing with little pockets
I'm sure there's more. I still have more boxes to go through. If you think you can use any of the above or are in need of any other specific small do-dads feel free to ask. Come pick up in South San Francisco.
Pile o' Burning Man gear
Heya, Dork, Sir... The Black Rock International Burner Hostel, in Sparks, could really use that tent. I'd gladly reimburse you for the cost of shipping it here. www.blackrockburnerhostel.com
Heya, Mr. Dork! You my BRUTHA now! Actually, TENTS and COOLERS. My typical guest from abroad typically shows up with a teensy weensie tent just big enough to SLEEP in, but not large enough to sleep in AND be able to spread out their STUFF, so we need extra tents for use as CLOSETS. These Burners from faraway are severely limited by the amount of gear they can haul aboard the airlines nowadays, y'know. Also, as soon as they get in town, they all hafta BUY coolers, and then certainly cannot take them back home, so what a waste of money for them, huh?
Most American Burners have no idea how DAUNTING it is for these people to experience the Burn, and be fully prepared for it, often showing up in Reno with no more than what they can fit in a friggin' BACKPACK!
For EVERYBODY out there in e-playa land who has an extra tent no longer needed (please...with ALL parts and poles intact), they will be gladly accepted at...

Instead of using a BOX, if it will fit in a used COOLER, even better!
