something about frangible ammo here.. also a good source for other related matters

Sinter is known for being "green" ammo..
I use
Corbon DPX, Glaser Blue, Thunder Ranch or Extreme Shock Fang Faces in the 45s depending on application
Hornady 168gr Match, Winchester 168gr Supreme Match, or Federal 168gr Gold Medal Match in the AR-10s
The 12 gauge likes all sorts of stuff including but not limited to Dragons Breath, Flecheete, Pit Bull, OC/Pepper, Rubber Rockets, Flash Bangs, Rhodesian Jungle and lots of homemade stuff. Not to mention the 3" Federal slugs.. thats what usually stays loaded in there after the round in the chamber with dimes.
Currently working on a mixture of stainless steel fine wool, magnesium, titanium shavings, and more to shoot huge showers of sparks and fire. Right now I'm using a single shot so I can fit the homemade 6 inch shells in the barrel.
PS Glasers use tiny shot pellets covered with a tip. They were designed for crowd control but work well in apts and situations where a miss or overpentration is an issue. Lethal in a soft target though.. a little different from the current school of powdered metal pressed slugs.
