Random hat question

is there and significance to having either the right or left side of a booney hat up. The one i have has push buttons on both sides in order to put either side, or both sides, of the brim up. Just wondering if...ya know....having the right side up means your gay or something

Great question. Here's the answer:

Boonie hats with the right side buttoned up indicate "Bear in heat."
Boonie hats with the left side buttoned up indicate "Furry seeking Furry."

Both sides up? Don't even GO there, girlfriend.

Well hell... Seems I've been a bear in heat for years and didn't even know it.

Well that makes sense, i shoulda known.

The reason i ask is because if one or both sides are up....your sun protection is dramatically reduced....

Oddly for some reason it hasn't been a problem. You'd think the top of that ear would get burned to hell.
