Need GPS Coordinates of 2008 Black Rock City

I am requesting an airspace waiver from the FAA for my art project and I need to know if this year's location for Black Rock City has been chosen yet or when it usually is made, so that I can give the FAA the location of the airspace I will be using.

You normally need those when you launch the big rockets.

I just don't see that getting cleared by the BLM with 50K people on the lake bed.

Some guy tethered a balloon above his camp in 97 or 98 that was high enough to need a NOTAM. His goal was to attract a lightning strike.

The contact person answering [email protected] emails can probably give you relevant info on that if you're more specific about your project.

Here's a Google map link if you want to ballpark the coordinates. I doubt if they're very picky, and the precise city location as surveyed may change somewhat at the last minute and differ from what you might be told.
