Hey Everyone!

It’s getting pretty hot out here in Nevada, and you can almost feel the drums pounding to the heartbeat of this year’s American Dream! It’s going to be a very important and interesting year at Burning Man for sure. We are making our contribution this year in the form of an Art Installation named "The Choice" which will be several hundred feet off of the Esplanade at around 2:15.

A little about the installation:

A professional wood sculptor of 30 years, Matthew (Timeless) Welter carved a huge, wooden Statue of Liberty in the summer of ’07. That same summer he shared it with the Burning Man community; that counter-culture event held on a flat, arid, lifeless dessert playa in Nevada’s Black Rock Desert…a global epicenter for the arts. Before the show was over, one of the participants illegally set the American icon ablaze. Notwithstanding, there remains to this time a haunting, charred sculpture, and an image of some Liberty Torched, burnt to a cinder, along with many of the sculptor’s most vital tools.
